Great affordable accommodations in close walking distance to restaurants, shopping and attractions. Pool was beautiful and clean, grounds were well maintained

Very pleasant stay in a great location. This hotel is close to many sites and surrounded by cafés and restaurant. Very convenient, Also very convenient, the adjacent free parking. We recommend it!

This is the cheapest hotel in the area, $33 dls a day, c’mon that’s crazy cheap and please don’t expect to get everything perfect, we runout of hot water for a little bit of time and the bathroom is kind of small, nothing is fancy here but the swimming pool is clean and nice, the staff are very friendly once you open up to them, otherwise they’re just reserved, respectful and quiet. If you have money to spend get a 5 star hotel, but if you want to save money to spend in food, tequila and archeological visits, San Juan is a great choice.

This would be a great place if they fixed the plumbing issues. If it was only my room, i do not know, but the toilet flush was poor quality, hot water was lacking and the tap came off in my hand due to corrosion.
Hot water point-- it seems at all the hotels i stayed at luke warm water is considered hot water.
Everythjng else about the hotel was great. Comfortable bed, great location, friendly staff.

This is my second time visiting Hotel Merida. Although I had hoped to get the same room as last time, we were not able to because it was already taken. However, I still enjoyed my visit and will likely return again!

Nice hotel but a lot of noise from the Bar side to the hotel.. 3 am and the noise was horrible.. all days same thing
