Holiday Inn Express Merida Centro

Don’t let the unassuming entrance and lobby discourage you. This is a well-located, modern hotel with clean, well maintained rooms. I had room 908 with a nice view of rooftops and the sunset. The room had two queen beds, coffee setup, big flat-screen TV with news channels in English. There was plenty of space for luggage. Though there was a cabinet for a mini-fridge, there was none. Know that the shower can be adjusted- to a rain-shower type spray to a strong, directed spray. The included buffet breakfast is excellent with lots of choices. There is also a water station, microwave and juice available in the lobby. Reception staff is friendly and helpful.

Budget priced hotel close to city center. Basic in every way. Only complaint is that the air conditioning in the room only worked part of the time. Included morning breakfast was ok. There is a lot of construction at the front entrance of the hotel, which makes it difficult to unload. If in a rental it's best to quickly unload out front(you will be blocking traffic), and have staff park the car offsite.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is great, it's very close to the lovely Zocalo, in an area with many restaurants, many touristy, but not all. The breakfast is good. Each day I had some scrambled eggs that were real, fresh cut fruit, pineapple, melon, papaya, watermelon, toast and jam, and my favorite Mexican breakfast food, chilaquiles. There was more food for sure that I didn't get around to trying. It's a good way to start the day when you are visiting a bustling city. The staff was friendly, the elevators were fast and quiet, the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The coffee service in the room was fine, and the coffee at the breakfast buffet was good. And the housekeeping was good and timely. I would book again without hesitation.

Simply ticks all the boxes if you are looking for a modern, functional, practical and central hotel - it has everything you would need - very close to the Center , very quiet, modem , good air con , safe , coffee maker. Lovely friendly staff . Breakfast is functional - nothing to shout about , just kick starts your day if you want to get up and go .

We stayed four nights and were very happy with this stay. Not "fancy" or plush but perfectly safe, comfortable, and pleasant place that met all our needs. Their staff were so helpful and patient with my attempts at Spanish and found a way to valet our rental car when we arrived after their parking facility closed. Super helpful and friendly staff that went out of their way. Great hot breakfast every day with options. Pool area. Room was very clean and worked well. Elevator to upper floors. We loved our time here and it was a great base for exploring Merida.

El Hotel está muy céntrico y muy bonito, tiene elevador y las habitaciones son muy cómodas y limpias, el personal muy atentos, el desayuno es buffet es básico pero muy rico.No cuenta con estacionamiento, tienen que convenio con estacionamientos pero hay q avisar porque están como a una cuadra y tiene un costo de $190 la noche El hotel está a 18min caminando del CAS americano, hay varios restaurantes cerca a una cuadra está la famosa Chaya Maya y el Parque de Santa Lucía

Es nuestra segunda vez en este hotel, lugar limpio, personal amable, desayuno muy rico y variado, nos gusta este hotel por lo céntrico que se encuentra a los eventos culturales gratuitos que la ciudad ofrece. No tuvimos ningún problema el caminar de regreso al hotel al finalizar cada evento que el municipio ofrecía, que por lo regular era en la noche. El estacionamiento esta en diferente dirección pero de igual forma muy seguro tanto para dejar el coche como para caminar al hotel.

Nos ha gustado mucho la estancia en este hotel. Su ubicación es perfecta, se puede caminar fácilmente a todos los lugares de interés del centro. La habitacion funcional, limpia. Las camas excelentes. El baño impecable. Tuvimos una habitacion en el 10o piso que tenía una muy bonita vista. El desayuno ordenado y abundante... sabroso. La unica observacion es que el domingo había personas haciendo "picnic" en todas las mesas de la alberca con pizzas y cervezas. Creo que esto no debe ser permitido, porque da una impresión y ambiente muy desagradable. Fuera de esto, excelente estancia.
