The hotel stay was just what we needed. A quick walk to the downtown area (via sidewalks and stairs). But watch our for the relatively steep walk back.
We had plenty of room, our car parked close, and a great view from our balcony. They have a great pool area as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel's stuff is extremely helpful and kind. The suit apar**ent for the family of four at the first floor with terrace was basic, the furniture a bit old. good for stay for a few nights. breakfast was ok.

Had to unexpectedly pay €9.50 for parking even though well away from town center. This was first thing asked for on arrival. location a little out from town on a hill.

Beautiful hotel and pool. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Will definitely be staying here again!

The property is nice and clean. The pool was great. The staff was very friendly.
There is definitely not air conditioning. The room was hot.
I thought our room included the “free breakfast” listed on the hotel website. AFTER my family of 5 ate the breakfast we were informed that our booking did not include breakfast. It’s €15 per person. Definitely not worth the money. They should have informed us of the charge before we ate.

I stayed here with my best friend for 2 nights. It is such a cute property. Sam and his family took great care of us. Sam speaks great English and is full of recommendations for the area. The hospitality blew us away! Thank you Sam for everything!

Hotel Sonega was well appointed and very clean. The offered breakfasts were excellent with various choices for different dietary needs.

I like the location as it is in Menaggio which is the center . Easily accessible to go to VARENNA and Bellagio . Above all, the owner of Hotel Sonenga- Roger - is very kindhearted. We arrived late and he picked us up . All the staff in the hotel are very polite and kind .
Room is very clean ; sheets are so white and the room is big . Breakfast is also great 👍
Stay in this hotel when you go to Lake Como . Perfect location to enjoy . From the balcony of our room we have a partial view of the lake which is nice .
You can walk to the ferry station -it is a good exercise 😀
