Hotel Riu Palace Meloneras

Tolles Hotel direkt am Meer mit super Garten ! Das Restaurant war super ! Leider bei 5 Sterne klein Wasser im Zimmer und Nespresso Maschine Es war auch kein Kosmetik Sachen oder Seife !! Service im Zimmer Ok

This is an excellent hotel! Reception staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble and we never felt rushed with our queries. Every area of the hotel is spotlessly clean and the grounds are well cared for by the numerous gardeners. The rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of space to accommodate your clothes. Large bathroom with large shower. Pools are well maintained with plenty of comfortable padded sunbeds and no problem finding one to flop onto whatever time of day you decide to turn up. The pool attendants are the best I have ever seen and actively help people to put up sunshades and locate them exactly as you want. The waiting staff servicing the pool areas work tirelessly to supply drinks and snacks. The restaurants are excellent with great quality food. We visited both a la carte restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed both. Waiting staff are always welcoming and efficient in their duties. The location of the hotel is excellent. The promenade gives easy access to the Maspalomas beach and dunes. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants in close walking distance. We will definitely be returning 😊

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Exceptionally clean. Every attention to detail. Excellent choice of food especially if you like seafood. Best internet speed ever in a hotel. Quality of evening shows first class. Sometimes 3 acts . Quality of service first class. We had a small issue with tv remote and shower, maintenance man was there in 5 mins to resolve. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Kitchen staff and management don’t give a damn about food intolerance, dietary requirements or any complaints you might care to make , if you have any food allergies or require vegetarian food etc Don’t come here ! Hospital is close by and get good insurance, food marked as vegetarian has shellfish /fish/meat/meat products in . I have spoken to the head waiter , head chef and manager and they all just say the labels are produced by head office and they can’t control them. My advice would be to go elsewhere possibly Dunas hotel who did seem to try and accommodate dietary needs. Hotel rooms , public areas and location is excellent and the staff are friendly and hard working

We have been coming to Riu Palace Meloneras for many years. As always, everything is of a high standard. We will definitely come again

We are just back from an incredible week here . An absolutely fabulous holiday in every way .Food was really lovely . One of my main recollections will be the incredible staff in every area . Always polite ,friendly and really helpful We truly appreciated this. .

This was our second visit to this hotel and my parents eighth visit. I will start with the good points. The hotel is immaculate especially the pool and grounds. Everywhere is well maintained and easy on the eye. The food is exceptional. The best buffet we have been to by a mile. Heaps of choice, allergy labelled and a lady comes round regularly changing serving spoons. Special mention to Roberto who is an exceptional waiter - perfectly balancing professional and personal service. Drinks service is very good and again special mention to Martin who had everyone laughing. I did notice great camaraderie between all the pool staff and they always looked happy which was good to see. Our room was kept immaculately clean and clean towels twice a day was a bonus. However our stay this time was marred by an extremely surly check in experience with Kimberley. Whilst we overhead (and remembered) other exceptional reception staff like Elena and Emilo Jose greeting customers and interacting very pleasantly we had a very different experience. Firstly Kimberley informed us that all the a la carte restaurants were fully booked for our stay so if we had planned on booking any we could not. Luckily we didn’t want to anyway but it wasn’t the best welcome. Then we were given our room keys and told ‘if you don’t like the rooms there is nowhere you can move to’. Ok well we hadn’t even seen the room at that point, so naturally we were on alert. We went to see the rooms in question. Having paid a premium for a superior garden room we weren’t impressed to have a view of the back of the supermarket. We returned to reception and had a very frosty reception. Eventually we were moved but only after being spoken to very rudely. It is very rare I would mention a member of staff in a review in a negative light, preferring to instead highlight great staff but the attitude of Kimberley seriously upset both myself and my husband but more sadly my parents who were celebrating an 80th birthday and are regular guests. For us sadly this has meant we are only to give 4 stars and not 5 on this occasion, and this team member significantly let down the hotel and all the other amazing staff members.

Great hotel, felt like a peacefull paradise, allways felt good coming back to the hotel. Friendly and helpfull staff, clean area and rooms, good food, nice pools, specially the Infinity pool by the beach promenade, good bars. Not maybe the best hotel for bigger children or young people, designated more for adults. There is program in the evenings, but nothing very wild. You can though attend the friday parties at Riu Gran Canaria. There is a great variety of food, not all is perfect, but you can always find many delicious things to eat. It's nice with a gym, but it could Be bigger with more equipment and a better air-conditioning. Location is good by the sea, to the beach there is approximately a 1 km, or less, walk. The shops are very close. A very nice experiense!

We have stayed six times and have always ifound it a wonderful hotel. I would say that the staff are the best. From the cleaners, gardeners and waiters. I would particularly like to mention Manalo, Jonas, Carmen, Martin and Jose. They are all so attentive and friendly but I could go on. I didn’t much like the football as I wasn’t interested in this on holiday
