The hotel is geared towards sustainability, which I love. There is a shared fridge, and pantry where you can store and reheat the food you buy outside. One downside though is that the water is only available at the pantry which means, you always need to go down to Level 2 to grab some water. The room was small but clean. Location-wise, it’s very ideal - there are many restaurants, cafes and convenience store nearby! It is near Victoria Market too!
Had really nice 3 night stay. Had a room with a great view and it was quiet as well, even over the weekend. It was a fantastic neighbourhood, chill vibes with many cafes and hipster shops around. It’s a great choice for those that have visited Melbourne previously (and stayed in CBD) and want a different experience. Loved my stay overall and will be back again!
Only one thing was that the room had a damp smell. Might be because there is no cleaning service and the wet floor mats and towels contribute to the smell. Suggest the hotel to provide baskets outside / common area to deposit used towels and to get fresh ones daily.
