Location wise, its little farvawat from CBD and waterfront but its still just some 10-15 mins drive. But the service is superb and hospitality is A grade. Would love to come back for a stay if am back in Newcastle.

Our room was around the back of the motel. Room was very clean had everything we needed somewhere to eat, sofa to sit and watch tv, plates, cutlery and a microwave if needed. Air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was clean and the shower was awesome. Full range of linen including hand towels and face washer. Shower cap provided was good size. We utilised under cover parking. Interaction with reception staff was good. Would be happy to stay again.

The staff are friendly, there is a bit of traffic noise but at night noise from other guests was more of an issue. That being said, it was a comfortable, clean room and perfectly OK for a night or two. I liked the fact that I could walk from the Waratah local train station in 15-20 to the motel. Undercover parking is a bonus too.

nice place friendly receptionist very helpful .we stayed 6 nights and everyday was refreshed our room . And the room was newly renovated very clean and nice . clean bathroom.
Onsight parking was next to the room. cheap for the price with the facilities. thanks

Although located on a busy road, our room was very quiet and the area locked to the outside, so very secure. Super clean. Comfy beds. Perfect for an affordable overnight stay.

Just 10mins away from Newcastle, Citigate offered a nice, clean and comfortable room at an affordable price, for my family to stay during our trip.

Staff were lovely, good value for a motel. Nice to have a 2 seater lounge when staying a few days. Some traffic noise which did not worry us.
