We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel for several reasons. The first issue happened at our arrival. The manager told us that our room would have a lovely view, but the reality was quite the opposite. Our view was of the hotel parking lot… disappointing. Secondly, the service was also disappointing. The staff at the reception desk and the hosts in the restaurants (both the lounge and the rooftop) were not very warm or welcoming. Sometimes, we had to wait several minutes before anyone would even acknowledge us or offer assistance. The most shocking aspect of our stay, given the hotel's supposed caliber, was the room service. Often, when we needed something and called the front desk, no one answered the phone. When I called to request clean towels for our room, it took at least 40 minutes for someone to bring them. By then, I had already dried off without them—it was far too late. Additionally, there was an unpleasant odor in the hallways, the beds, and the pillows—a mix of cheap perfume and mustiness. The hotel should really air out the rooms more frequently. On a positive note, the food was quite good, and our servers were friendly and helpful. Overall, we were disappointed because, given the price and the reputation of the hotel, the service was not up to par. We expected much better and hope the hotel will address these issues.
