Blue Bay Platinum

On our last evening here. We've had a fantastic 6 nights. Weather has been awesome only one cloudy day which we used for shopping in marmaris and I got my hair done at the hotels on site hairdresser. Chris and his team have done an amazing job and half the price of my hairdresser at home. Might even squeeze in my nails before I fly home. There's a tattoo shop and spa on site too but I didn't visit. The room is lovely, massive shower, water in fridge every day, clean and comfortable. You can pay a supplement if you want English TV but we didn't spend much time in our room. Supplement for in room safe too. Forgot my toothbrush but was able to quickly get one at the on site supermarket. The supermarket down the road is cheaper but for convenience the one in the hotel is great for snacks and essentials. We had an overnight flight and delayed 2 hours but were greeted here at 7am with smiles and a porter to take us to our room for a nap or we could have gone straight to breakfast. The driver from our TUI transfer mini bus offered us cold refreshments at Dalaman for the journey and Turkish delight. After 90mins napping on the bus I had forgotten all about it until he chased us into the hotel lobby demanding £4 for the refreshments. I was so tired and dopey i should have realised there would be a charge. The hotel food is good enough. Very repetitive after a week. Definitely couldn't do another week on the same food. Mexican night and Chinese night were my favourite. In the day the pizza and ice cream and patisserie were to die for. Also the iced coffee mid morning was perfect before having alcohol. There was never a fight for sunbeds. 90% of guests were British and it's not peak season yet so we never had to get up early. They don't really condone reserving sunbeds before 7am here. Not much to do here compared to other destinations I've been to. We took the excursion to Rhodes for a day to break up our week. Ive also been to hotels with a more varied entertainment programme. There's a few animation team members trying to organise darts and pool in the day and evening entertainment is 9.30-11pm which was mainly dance shows and karaoke one night. All in all a fantastic week considering we only booked 10 days ago. Next time I wouldn't bother exchanging to Lire as everything is in pounds or euros anyway. Even the shops along the road advertise in pounds.

An absolutely great stay staff were all so friendly and helpful couldn’t do enough for you we stayed mainly around the adults pool and would like to give Alex a special mention he was brilliant made sure we was comfortable and there was always a drink ready if you wanted one also our Rep Michelle was great always on hand to help

I would of given it 5 stars but there is a few small things that let’s the hotel down so let’s start with them 1.my husband was taken ill and was stuck in the room I went down too get him some dinner but was told I couldn’t do that and that he had too come down how can someone do that if they are ill ! 2. No toilet on the beach for people 3. The entertainment really lets the place down in the 11 days we were here there was only 2 good shows the kids disco is good tho 4. The bar is too far away from where the entertainment is and you ask the waitress for a drink she says 2 minutes but never comes. Back 5. There was a Turkish basketball competition on and they partying till early in the morning with very loud music and flashing lights it’s really not on when people are trying too sleep and people have kids too this happened 2 nights Now the good points Food is amazing the best all inclusive we have been too and we travel a lot Staff friendly and helpful Place is clean Lovely big room overlooking the pool Drinks are not watered down Pools are lovely and have walk in steps too Special thanks too the older waiter in the restaurant who is very good at his job and always makes sure you have everything you want and need And a even bigger thanks too Alex at the relaxation adult pool who can’t do enough for you and is so friendly and kind

Second year in a row for us. Still very good food and entertainment. Very clean and comfortable. Beach is very close and water is perfect. Kids club was very entertaining. Our son loved playing there, staff was very friendly with the kids. Night entertainments were very funny and amazing.

The entertainment was amazing, during the day they had people dancing and singing, it was absolutely brilliant. Big thank you to Mia and Charlie for being a great laugh. The rooms could have been a bit more up to date and the shower pressure was bad.

First time staying in Turkey. Hotel was great, room was clean and roomy. Wouldn't pay the supplement next time though for sea view, not really worth it. Food in main restaurant was varied, two nights running we had an excellent Chinese and Indian themed night. Restaurant staff could not do enough for us. Relax pool was great and Alex the barman could also not do enough for us. Michelle the TUI rep also requires a mention for all her help during our stay. The only gripe I have is you have to pay £25 for a week for the room safety deposit box. Overall our stay was excellent and would go back again to this hotel.

The rooms was very nice we stayed with my mum no complains for it there was plenty of choices for food it was delicious the snack bar food always the same things the staff are always smiling the entertainment is amazing thanks to Mia the Essex girl she made our holiday with her laugh and talking always making sure we are pleased she is the best at morning yoga definitely the best even she is young she is doing a good job thanks to Ali waiter he is so good to

Had an amazing time at blue bay platinum with my friend first time in Turkey definitely we will come back we had the best time at the hotel the food was good the staff was always smiling big shout to the entertainment especially Essex girl Mia she is the best definitely will come back to see her

Whilst on holiday holiday, we visited the Seaside Bar within the Bluebay Platinum. Marmaris The waitress ( Òzlem) came and took our order She was good, and she kept checking to make sure we were alright for drinks. She also brought out nuts for us and checked if required a drink before they closed . We went back several times due to the excellent service.
