Excellent from start to finish, the hotel is amazing and the staff are the most helpful people ever, the bar is amazing and there's attention to detail in everything, just perfect!

We stayed in an inner sanctum suite to celebrate my husbands birthday. The location was great, close by to everything. The suite had a lovely screen and TV, we went to lunch at six by nico, and then ended up cancelling our dinner reservation to enjoy room service in our suite instead!
The only issue we had was that Netflix kept crashing but that's more an issue with the app! All toiletries were from the White Company and robe & slippers are provided in the cupboard. Alongside an umbrella to use during your stay which comes in handy in rainy Manchester!

Lovely hotel with a difference and in a good location. Room was very nice and the breakfast was excellent The cocktails very very nice in the bar although too windy to sit outside. The staff were very helpful. We had Afternoon Tea as well the following day and that was exceptional, you get to chose your tea from a sample box when you arrive and the whole experience was just so classy. A hotel with a difference and highly recommend 😀

Looked at this expensive hotel a few times. Luckily l managed to afford a visit in July. Reception is at the top of the hotel! Downstairs doorman was very welcoming. Room was excellent, bathroom large but lacking in lighting. Everything in the room is for-sale and a large price list is available complete with Swag Bag that you also have to purchase. Breakfast very good. Bar on the top floor is great. Charged incorrectly at checkout. Even though a charge was mentioned, I was told not to worry about it, but as soon as I left the hotel, the charge appeared on my credit card. I had to contact the hotel to remove the charge.

Great experience! From the moment we stepped through the door into the lobby we were surrounded by art. The architecture of the building is fantastic and the interior decor complements this perfectly. We felt like we had been transported to Gotham City but without Batman. Very well thought out concept and executed perfectly. Plenty of little touches to make the stay perfect.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel last weekend. First and foremost, it is absolutely stunning — from its exterior to the reception and restaurant on the sixth floor to the en-suite Club Rooms my friends and I stayed in. I didn’t get a chance to try out the rooftop bar (it was my hen party so my weekend itinerary was packed) but I’ll definitely be back with my fiancé soon. After having a taste of the Hotel Gotham, I truly can’t think of anywhere else we’d stay when visiting Manchester. The staff were so accommodating — from allowing me to drop off my suitcase in the morning to letting my friend check into her room early and add her husband to the booking. Because I was in the city for a special occasion, the staff even left a little gift for me in my room (a handwritten postcard congratulating me on my engagement, as well as some super tasty sweet treats: iced cookies, chocolate-dipped strawberries and macaroons). Breakfast was delicious too and I was genuinely sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back again soon.
