Great place to stay with kids, big rooms, good buffet breakfast with plenty of fresh options and local food and amazing staff. I really loved the staff, so friendly, helpful and doing their u**ost to give me the right information about public transport, taxi, restaurants etc. The bus stop to Malaga is really 5 min walk from the hotel, the beach is at a 10-step distance... all around you have plenty of patisseries and wonderful restaurants serving tasty and healthy food at a good price. We will definitely go back.

Very friendly service around. We didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach, but the hotel is perfectly located for this. Good place to start trips toward different interesting places in Andalusia. Fine breakfasts. Usefull underground parking area.

Nice people, good food, close to the see and Malaga city. Public transfer very close. For people that like walking, a lot of possibilities. It is to so visit to Alhambra and jther cities in that r3gion.

This is a really nice hotel. It's a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket in the town and a two minute walk to the beach where you can get freshly cooked fish. Cooked on an open fire. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. I don't usually sleep well in strange beds but had no problem with the bed in our room. The reception, cleaners and restaurant staff in the hotel are really friendly and helpful . They always have a hola for you when they meet you. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. We went bed and breakfast when we stayed. It's buffet style and has everything you could need. Coffee/tea, cheeses, cold meats, fruit, yoghurt, bread and a selection of cooked food. I tried everything and enjoyed it all. There's a little pool in the roof on the 6th floor. It's a real sun trap. The only downside for me was the other guests playing loud music at the poolside. That's not a fault with the hotel though. It's about a two mile walk to take you to the beaches of Rincon de la Victoria and its a lively walk. You walk under old railway tunnels carved into the rock. I loved it. There's a bus stop a minutes walk from the hotel which takes you to Rincon and across the road the bus stop takes you to Malaga City, a twenty minute ride away. Malaga City is well worth a visit, there's loads to see there. If you get a chance, go see the caves in Rincon. It takes around 30 minutes.

We loved Moon Dreams Hotel in torremolinos when we went last month. So we decided to book this one in la cala del Moral. We thought that the hotel chain standard would be the same, but how wrong were we? We stayed at the hotel last night as it is our 3 years anniversary but couldn't wait to get outbof there. The room was big, yes, but it looks like a retirement home room. The pool area is the most boring place, no a**osphere, no music, and no ambience throughout the hotel whatsoever. Everything is dated, broken skirting boards, and bottom of cabinets. We got excited about the jacuzzi in the room, but unfortunately, it does not work. The carpet in the corridor is in such a bad state that it doesn't inspire happiness after check-in. Even the TV did not work as it was our last resort to something to do while there. We paid 186 euros on a week day, thinking it was well worth it after our experience in the one in Torremolinos. What a disappoin**ent. I have never stayed in a hotel that is so outdated, poorly looked after for as long as I remember. The sewer smell in the bathroom topped it off. We had to book a room elsewhere to finally be able to celebrate our anniversary.

Give an honest review. We wanted to stay out of the city due to parking. This hotel has parking underneath be it a little tight. That’s ok got here ok.On arrival Beatriz the receptionist spoke perfect English,lovey informative lady. Booked into room 314, Hugh room clean and tidy. Wi-Fi,tv and hairdryer. Breakfast plentiful. Bus to Malaga on right hand side of road.1.70 to city centre. Enjoyed it so much we want to come from our home in Mojacar again with family. Many thanks Beatriz. Besos

I have stayed at this hotel many times including before it was taken over by the Soho chain of hotels. I am always surprised how quiet it is even in the summer when I have stayed previously. This was the first time I have stayed on my annual October break in the area and we booked room only for 5 nights at a competitive price compared with the other major hotel in the area. Not an awful lot has changed under the Soho ownership, they have framed up the reception area and tiled over the previously decked area around the rooftop pool. On this visit we were pleasantly surprised to get a free upgrade to a suite. The room was enormous and given there were only 2 of us we didn't make full use of it, but nevertheless it was a nice gesture given our repeated visits. We haven't received such an upgrade previously. The hotel is in an unusual but great spot in a residential area but just 100m from the beach. There's plenty of local shops bars and cafes literally on the doorstep. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be returning. Incidentally we moved from here into Malaga centre where we stayed at the newish Soho chain hotel the Equitativa which is beautiful. Be nice if Sho did a loyalty scheme as their hotels in this part of Spain are becoming our favourites.

The hotel is amazing ,friendly staff .The rooftop pool is the best looks much better than on pictures very clean and room was nice big .Location is fantastic from Malaga airport is not far about 25min Uber €30 or the bus stop is just 5min from the hotel.The breakfast was amazing good choice and Eduardo was very helpful and friendly always gave me nice selection of gluten free cakes and bread.He makes nice mochito on pool bar too.They are nice restaurants around to have a lovely dinners and they are making most delicious sardines on fire on the beach.If you look for quiet proper Spanish a**osphere I recommend this hotel 100% .Nadia I think it was lady name on pool bar was friendly and nice best mochito i ‘ve ever had these too people were amazing and they work so hard.

We got the most biggest room (appartement) I've ever seen at a hotel (507). Fantastic!! The view at de rooftop is beautiful. And the swimmingpool is the best. The hotel is in the middele of the town. Nearby lots of restaurants to enjoy yourself. Above all: this hotel haa the nicest staff. Thank you for making our stay unfogettable.
