We (family of 5) stayed on our last night on Seychelles, after spending 2 weeks on Praslin. We wanted to have a full day on Mahe before flying back to Europe. We were so positively impressed about the quiet location, the impressive classic architecture of the mansion and the newly renovated spacious rooms! The bathrooms are large, spotless and modern. The air conditioning in the rooms, which are fitted with high quality antique furniture, works perfectly. The food, which the owner takes pride in personally co-producing, is high quality creole cuisine. But none of these highlights matches the incredible view that this place has over the bay of Mahé. If you have a chance to see the sunrise, do so, it is truly breathtaking!

The hotel was ideal for me, the staff were so great, the view incredible and the rooms were delightful. positioned just a short drive from both the town centre and the main beach its a perfect place for stay if you dont want the huge beach hotels and want to experience SEYCHELLES.

Very good service. The very polite and helping Mr Raj, the good-natured Mrs Lisette and the motherly attention to detail of Mrs Emily and Mrs Schroff. Stayed for 2 weeks. Loved the breakfast. Hugely appreciated the home made, nutritious and tasty dinners prepared by the owners. I also appreciated that I was not neglected even on the long Easter weekend for food. The regular attention by the owner to your stay is genuine and you feel like you're staying with family

The whole villa fit out is very dated (but charming at the same time) but: the view is stunning, the staff very friendly and helpful, bed good, breakfast excellent, hot shower. Precautions: Very isolated location so good to have a car. Very steep road. No bar or dinner at night so bring a few supplies... This hotel is in fact how more of the Seychelles should be: reasonable room rate, friendly people, comfortable place, tropical garden, stunning view.

The hotel is uphill over Victoria, difficult to reach for lack of signals apart from the last stretch (and also then of difficult interpretation) and for the kind of road that’s a real challenge. But when you’re there it’s just fabulous. The view on Victoria and the island in front is breathtaking and there is a big terrace too enjoy it. Room 5 has a great view from the windows. The room was spacious and comfortable with old furniture; it’s obviously an old house restructured as a hotel, the drawback is the bathroom that is large but would need some refurbishment. The staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is good with eggs made on order, fresh fruit and sweet and savory things to choose. The hotel is at the border of the National park, don’t miss a hike on the trails and a visit to the mission.

Small, basic place but very good for one night. Comfortable bed and a decent air conditioner. Breakfast was good. It’s a bit of along way from everything but one night in between transits is ok. You’ll need a car or a taxi to reach it. The staff were nice, too.

La struttura è davvero molto confortevole e pulitissima. Noi abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte con la mia bimba di 2 anni e mezzo che è stata trattata da vera principessa. Spazi comuni molto ampi dove abbiamo fatto sia cena che colazione. Tutto ottimo. Colazione a buffet con frutta fresca, uova preparare al momento e tutto il necessario. Semplice ma davvero completa. Wi-fi perfettamente funzionante. Camera molto grande e bagno spaziosissimo con sia doccia che vasca da bagno! Parcheggio disponibile in cortile molto comodo. La vista poi è impagabile.

Charmantes Hotel im Kolonialstil mit fantastischem Blick über den Hafen von Victoria. Die Ausstattung ist geschmackvoll, der Service sehr liebevoll, das Essen landestypisch und sehr gut. Die Lage ist zentrumsnah und somit sehr günstig, die Höhe sorgt für einen atemberaubenden Blick und ein angenehmes Lüftchen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel direkt über der Hauptstadt Victoria. Der Blick u.a. von einer großzügigen Veranda ist atemberaubend, die Architektur offen, ein weitläufiges Herrenhaus mit seychellischem Flair und tadellos in Schuss. Die Zimmer haben sehr guten Standard. Klimaanlage brauchten wir nicht, wegen der Lage gibt es eine angenehme Brise. Das Personal ist warmherzig zuvorkommend und die sympathische Hausherrin kocht neben anderen traditionellen Köstlichkeiten das beste Octopuscurry der Insel und erweiste sich als interessante Gesprächspartnerin. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt, unsere Kinder waren auch begeistert. Vielen herzlichen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
