My 4 nights stay at JC RESIDENCY was pleasant and made more memorable by the staff. They are always at hand to serve you with the utmost courtesy. As for the hotel and the room, the decor is reminiscent of the Indian palaces. The room we had was a suite. It was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows. All the usual amenities found in a hotel room are provided. I love the decor and royal feel to the room, but it is in need of an overhaul in terms of the appliances and fittings. The television does not work. If you don't intend to spend a lot of time in the room, then it's OK. However, the bathroom sticks out like a sore thumb in terms of decor and is very much in need of a revamp. The shower is old school from the ceiling type with no control settings, no handheld shower provided. To save water, a bucket and a scoop are provided. Handwash, body wash, and shampoo are to be expressed from local shop type dispensers. I enjoyed the food. There was a good spread of local dishes for the breakfast buffet. Please ask for the South Indian coffee extra strong. Otherwise, it would be overly milky. As my stay coincided with Pongal, the guests were invited to join in cooking the pongal over firewood stove and traditional games. It was fun with ***y sporting guests and staff joining in.

We went to the rest***nt, ***n Raj and Kamakshi in the restaurant were good in terms of suggesting the dishes and the overall service. It is a must visit to experience and taste Madurai cuisine and dishes

Lovely hotel . Very hospitable team , especially , the women during breakfast. Great food . Plumbing was average but overall , a great experience . Ate well and slept well !

We had our baby shower event at Nathaswaram Hall, JC Residency. The venue was neat and conducive for a family event. It is neatly maintained. All the arrangements, like decor and audio, were promptly made. The best part was the food. We opted for a traditional baby shower menu and are really happy about the spread, cost, and quality. We had booked for two rooms. It was well maintained. The bathrooms could have been better in terms of cleanliness. We had a problem with the AC in one of the rooms but were shifted to another good room immediately after being informed. All staff members are well-behaved and prompt. Mr. Thiruvengadam, a ***ager, helped us coordinate the event, food arrangements, room booking and decor. I recommend JC residency as it is a cost-effective and salubrious space for family events.

We have our business conference and received very good hospitality from all the concerned ie. Mr. Paul F&B ***ager and his team and FO support team. This is good experience we have hare during our 3 days conference and stay, all feel good. Thank you

Extremely well maintained hotel. Super good food. Well behaved and smiling staff. Sanghvi at the reception was very efficient in her dealing with the rush in the queue. She is a star. Overall the team is very well motivated - it's seen in the cheerfulness while working at front office, restaurant and house keeping. God bless.

The food was great at the time of my stay.i enjoyed being around the hotel .it's fitted with some good antiques.and the restaurant service was good ,namely NAGARASU.S was well handy .And the opening was good with some royal arch type setting and hotel was very close to the temple

From the front desk, initial check in was assisted by Varsha and Ramachandran. They greeted us very well, really helpful in getting the checkin formalities done without any delay. Rooms are excellent with all the wood work in it and the toilets were super clean. Got a pool view room which was the best part. Breakfast area was really awesome with some good variety of spread. Kamatchi was very helpful in getting us our orders from the live counter and the courtesy of asking if we needed anything else is really appreciated. Thank you staff ! All in all a very good experience at JC RESIDENCY.
