Le choix de cet appartement a grandement contribué à la réussite de notre voyage de 8 jours à Madrid, en raison de son aménagement, et de sa position très pratique. Commençons par la "géographie". Situé à peine à 100 mètres de la station Santo Domingo, et à 200 mètres de la station Callao (sur la Gran Via !), l'appartement est très central, et permet de visiter Madrid très facilement en métro. Idem s'il s'agit de rejoindre les gares de Moncloa, Atocha ou encore la gare des bus du sud de la ville. Si vous préférez marcher, pas de souci : le quartier du temple de Debod est à 5/10 minutes, la Plaza Mayor à un petit quart d'heure, Sol à 10 minutes, le palais royal également, et le Prado à 20/25 minutes. Un supermarché juste à côté, et un grand choix de restos, boutiques,.., rendent le quotidien très facile. Pour les taxis, c'est encore mieux : il y a un petit "arrêt" officiel dans la rue, à environ 50 mètres (idéal pour retourner à l'aéroport). Quant à l'appart en lui-même, il est très confortable. Situé au 6ème (avec ascenseur), il est très spacieux et lumineux, et relativement calme (de temps en temps un bruit du voisinage ou de la rue, mais en plein centre-ville, c'est normal). De nombreux espaces de rangement, une cuisine avec lave-vaisselle, et des salles d'eau très correctes, rendent les lieux très fonctionnels. Petit bémol : pas beaucoup de matériel de cuisine (une poêle, ce serait bien, non ?), vous compliquant un peu la vie si vous souhaitez cuisiner. En conclusion : si nous retournons à Madrid, nous retournerons dans cet appartement, sans hésitation.
