"I was very disappointed with my stay. There was a strong and unpleasant smell of sewage in the rooms, which could also be detected from the hallway, even 10 meters away. I was on the 5th floor, and despite the hotel’s reputation, this was not what I expected. Additionally, loud music from a nearby bar or restaurant continued until midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. I had to keep the window open due to the smell, and so did my colleague in the neighboring room — but with nighttime temperatures around 8–9°C, the room was uncomfortably cold. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a hotel with such a good name."

"Lovely hotel! The hotel is 10 min walk from the old twon. Our room was very clean and spacious with great shower! The staff are incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly. The staff from cafe at the front went out of their way to get us vegan cake in the evening. The bar staff was lovely as well and drinks and food reasonably priced. The breakfast had good selection for anyone including nice vegan options. Definitely try the vegan strawberry cake, it was the breakfast highlight for us. As they are renovating spa we couldn't use the hotel ones (we will have to come back to try). They offered options nearby but we opted for a different place for our massages in the end. Overall great stay and we will definitely come back."

"Had a wonderful one night stay for my birthday. Was kindly upgraded to a high floor with stunning balcony views, and left a cake and bottle of fizzy. Room was large, comfortable bed and extremely quiet. Bathroom was large with powerful shower. Hotel staff were polite and efficient. Recommend to all, hope to return ."

"Stayed for 3 nights in early September 2025. The hotel is located near the old town which is very convenient for sightseeing, as most of the places are within walking distance. It is refurbished from an old bank and retains the charm of the former building including a nice lobby which was previously the banking hall. They also have a vault with a bar within. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities including a safebox. They have USB charger built in as well. Wifi was fast. The hotel also does have a swimming pool in the basement with wet and dry sauna facilities. The old town is right behind the hotel. Staff were professional and I managed to have slightly early check in thanks to a trainee lady (I did not catch the name) who took time to helped look for available room."

"Great location, more a 4 star than a 5 - single room looked a bit tired and there was a problem with their shower room ( the floor had a slant towards the hallway which meant the carpet got wet and felt cheap ). Take a walk on the first floor and have breakfast in their dining room if you can. It’s got an air of old Bucharest. Traditional place with lots of history! And a friendly price - at least when I went, I got lucky! :)"

"Really like the hotel. But main restaurant was always booked for private party. No chance to have dinner, no chance to have breakfast. We stayed in this place only because of beautiful main restaurant and were have to go to the bar to have a breakfast were staff was slow and placing order for people who come later first."

"โรงแรมนี้สวยสุดๆ และ เป็นที่พักที่ชิคมาก สนุกกับการนั่งดื่มที่ล็อบบี้และทานอาหารเช้าภายในห้องอาหาร ห้องพักกว้างมากมีเหมือนสามห้องแยกกันและมีระเบียงที่สวยมองเห็นที่พัก พนักงานไม่มีที่ติ โรงแรมหรูมาก ปัญหาเดียวที่เจอกับโรงแรมนี้คือสระว่ายน้ําเล็กมากและฉันชอบการรับประทานอาหารที่หรูหราและของสระว่ายน้ําที่ใหญ่โตมากเวลาฉันมาพักผ่อนและสระว่ายน้ําที่นี่เล็กมากอาจจะเหมาะกับเด็กหรือคนที่ไม่ชอบว่ายรอบเท่านั้น ไม่เคยได้แช่น้ําในสระและเปลี่ยนโรงแรมเพราะต้องการอ่างอาบน้ําร้อน amenity สปา/สระว่ายน้ําสําหรับวันหยุดของฉัน ถ้าไม่ได้ลงสระแล้วที่นี่เป็นที่พักที่สมบูรณ์แบบที่สุด ผมได้ห้องนี้ในราคา $100 ต่อคืนและนั่นมันขโมยจริงๆ"
