Great hotel if you want quiet and relaxing stay. No food on some days so check but I found ordering in fine on those days. The hotel rooms are spacious and the hotel and gardens are great. Fair walk if you want to go into town but that is not what I chose this place for. Would definitely stay again.

We loved how rural the hotel was..a sense of olde world. The food was amazing and the barman was so friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We seen reviews about the place being cold..we had to turn off our heating so definitely not our experience. The hotel upgraded one of our rooms too. Loved it!

Beautiful buildings and gardens. We were jet legged and just wanted a relaxing place to sleep. It was perfect and breathtaking beautiful

This was good value for money and would recommend the hotel, which is in a fantastic location. However, there were a few details that could be improved. We were in one of the Courtyard rooms - heating didn't come on as expected, cold water flow almost non-existent.

It is a lovely place. We would come back again.
It's a bit difficult to find, perhaps a light at the entrance to the grounds at the signpost.(we arrived after midnight and it was difficult to know that this was the place) The curtains don't cover all the window and a lot of light shines through. It was great value for money, breakfast was good. Service at breakfast also good. We didn't have any interaction with other staff besides paying our bill.
