My wife and I as well as her brother stayed here mid-May of this year. The Astrid is located very near the Sanctuary, just 5 or less minutes away walking. Staff are very nice and friendly. Both rooms we had were very clean and had large windows facing the front. The corner room was even better with windows on both sides. They are very comfortable and have great bathrooms. The toilette was in a separate enclosure from the shower which is nice. No carpets either which I like. Just outside the hotel is a supermarket so that was very convenient. Hotel is accessible all day and night and they do have security at night. Our room had a small fridge and water heater and my brother-in-law had a Nespresso machine in his. Overall great service, is comfy, and a great location to the Sanctuary and main street (Rue de la Grotte) where most of the eating happens. We would stay here again.

Close to the Basilica which made it a a perfect location, helps as we were there for hours on end. All was decent, clean and comfortable, I recommend it for this reason.

It was close to everything but the photos were not an accurate representation of the hotel. It is quite old and musty. It is still very clean, however. The bathtubs are slippery and dangerous.

We requested cleaning staff return in15 mins on one occasion or when convenient, as i
was in the shower. We realised language might be a barrier, so also asked reception to pass on message. They said they would, when we returned in the evening the cleaning had not been done. We were unable to open safe on our last night with our code, tried to phone reception but phones turned off. Got dressed and went down to reception( needed our passports etc) as we were leaving early in the morning. The night porter was very nice but unable to help as he didn't know where master key was, a couple off hours later he found it and opened the safe. This saga went on from around midnight to 2 or 3 a.m. Needless to say it was a very stressful situation.

Bugs in bed (had to ask for another room, not one word from staff about it, like “sorry”, for instance). In general, outdated property in need of renovation, but perfectly located a few steps away from main landmarks.

We stayed as a group of 34 pilgrims some with disabilities our thoughts are great hotel, great location, everything just as we would wish. The Astrid catered very well with our dietary requirements and need for medical beds and equipment within the rooms. First class!

The hotel is very good for the area of Lourdes it represent a very good rating for the standards of the city . The location is excellent for a religious visit . The staff is very courteous and efficient.

Friendly service, Fluent in English language, room's very clean and tidy I'm a Ceoliac they catered for. I recommend it. Reason for 4 star's is. I never give 5 stars as venue's, accommodation are always improving. I enjoyed my time at the Astrid Hotel in Lourdes. As a gesture of our group gave a gratuity for appreciation to staff. Thank you very much, I will, please God see you next year or sooner. Go raibh maith agat
