An excellent hotel, staffed by friendly, competent and enthusiastic staff members. A comfortable room, excellent cleaning services, good food and excellent service generally It is worth paying a little extra for a panoramic room- the views are sensational and sunshine is always available

Stayed for one week in March at this lovely hotel. Just the place if you’re looking to relax and unwind. Stunning setting and views down to the sea. Breakfast was great, everything you could want and dinner was always delicious and well presented. The staff here are all friendly and as previous reviews have stated they make you feel like you’re with friends. Special mention to Nadia in the restaurant who recommended some wonderful wines and Oliver who gave a great massage. We had a Lions View room facing the sea with wonderful views, it’s certainly worth upgrading to one of these rooms. It is very quiet in the evenings which is great if you just want to relax however there is plenty to do close by in Meloneras which is a very nice resort. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Situated 15 minutes out of Maspalomas this mountain top hotel has everything you need to relax. You’ll be fed well morning and night then you can take advantage of their wellness activities from yoga and walking to massages and saunas. Or if it’s too much to hop on a treadmill, then you can just soak up the sun by the pool. There are only a small number of rooms so you won’t feel crowded. But the staff are really what makes this place - warm, friendly and always happy to help. A particular shout out to Nadia who works a room with a smile and knows how to make everyone feel special! And Oliver who will take you through your paces in the gym or treat you to an excellent massage. Thank you for a lovely week.

We had the most fabulous 10 days at Casa Leon in March. We were going for a much needed getaway and the hotel more than delivered. All the staff were cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable, as well as multi-lingual, with a special mention to Nadia and Sarah who looked after us wonderfully! Our Suite ‘Lion’s Kingdom’ was very spacious, with a separate sitting room, a dressing room, nice bathroom and big balcony. Breakfast was delicious; lots of choice of fresh fruit, pastries and eggs cooked to order. I loved the morning classes of yoga and dynamic stretching, (at no extra cost) and enjoyed a massage and reflexology !with Oliver and Herminia respectively). We took advantage of the shuttle bus to Maspalomas on the 2 days when it was a bit wet up in the mountains. All in all a really wonderful way to relax in a beautiful setting.

Superb hotel. Fantastic service provided by all the team. Friendly, attentive, nothing too much trouble. We were on first name terms with many of them. We were particularly struck by the passion of Nadia, Oliver and Cathy. In the hills so very peaceful, with breathtaking mountain and sea views, but within easy reach of Maspolomas and the surrounding areas. Food was excellent. Fresh, tasty and well presented. We enjoyed everything that was served, pretty impressive as we stayed for 9 days, Breakfast was equally enjoyable. The restaurant service was unsurprisingly first class as well. The hotel lays on a range of daily activities, most of which are free. We particularly enjoyed the yoga, and the gym has panoramic views. Just the most idyllic place for a relaxing holiday on the sun.

If it's peace, quiet and tranquility you are looking for then look no further. After five days at the Casa Leon I feel relaxed and refreshed and ready to get back to it! Personally I can't fault the place. Comfortable room, super clean, amazing food, service and hospitality. Thank you for looking after us from the moment we arrived right through to departure. You are a fabulous team.

We have just returned from a 5 night break at Casa León where we enjoyed the most beautiful scenery in the Gran Canaria mountains and lovely service and delicious food and wines. Oliver organised the walk, short excursion and transfer to the airport and is a delightful person sharing his knowledge of the area with fun and joy. Nadia in the restaurant was super efficient and very welcoming. In fact every member of staff deserves a mention. The customer service is excellent. We would have liked some form of music or light entertainment in the evenings. Dinner is over by 8.30pm and everyone disappears to bed. We only found out about the library upstairs and the option to paint by accident as there was nothing on the information sheet, a small detail. Overall a lovely experience.

We stayed at Casa Léon from 26-2 until 6-3-2024 and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is situated on Monte Léon about 10 minutes drive to Maspalomas and has a great view towards that town and even the Maspalomas Dunes can be viewed from the hotel's terrace and swimming pool. We especially chosen this hotel because of the relatively small size (25 rooms). Prices include half-board which some people don't like, but the kitchen and staff of Casa Léon is of such a high level that, at least we, did not regret this for 1 second. We got every night a 4 course meal served with choices for the main dish. Twice a week a BBQ buffet is served which was excellent. Also worth to mention is the gala dinner evening (once a week) in which you get a 6-course meal served. Don't worry you don't have to show up in smoking or in a gala dress :-). They fully take into account any diet wishes. The hotel provides also walks, yoga, massages and other exercises with a very good team of instructors as well as wine or champagne tasting. During these events, and because of the small scale of the hotel, you immediately get interaction between the different guests. They also offer a daily shuttle service to Maspalomas. It is always "exciting", when you go on holidays, to find out if you made the right choice. We were blown away by Casa Léon, the location, the views, the food and drinks, but foremost the people working in the hotel, from reception, breakfast, lunch and drinks in the afternoon to the chef in the kitchen and people serving dinner. They all were top-service oriented and with full - and only - focus on the guests. Would we go back to Casa Léon. Definitely YES !!

The localisation is perfect. The room and building are perfect. Weather was perfect. Food is perfect (perhaps too much salt, but it's a detail). Breakfast was a must. Service is perfect. Room service is good but not as perfect as every other item.
