I have to say I have been going to Da Vincis for years, wasnt sure about the change, me just being over familiar with the norm, I have to say we went to the restaurant for our Sunday lunch last week, Leona and staff were amazing. Leona is a great front of house in the restaurant, very welcoming, very genuine and professional Yea teething problems but when u feel like nothings a problem and the service and food was amazing it just fell into place, when the staff make it their business to make u feel special and I’m sure that was carried out with all customers in the restaurant was great. Went to the bar and Les is an absolute diamond, breath of fresh air, I have to say the changes are good and very welcome, keep up the great transformation as I’m sure this is only the start of a new generation in da vincis.

Stayed a couple of nights on business and upgraded to the premier plus room offering “ultimate wifi” and “an improved place to work”. I would stick to the standard room in future as the ultimate wifi offered only 6mbps and the work area consisted of a shelf under the TV at stool height which wasn’t even deep enough for my laptop. I ended up working on the coffee table and armchair which wasn’t ideal. That said the shower was lovely and the coffee machine and fridge were welcome. The bed was as comfortable as always. However the aircon made a tremendous racket all night similar to a kettle boiling every 30 mins, even when turned off.

First time staying here as I heard good reviews and I got a good deal in a Junior Suite. We came for our Wedding Anniversary so nice opportunity to stay in the heart of Derry. Great location and views from our room were stunning. Staff are very nice and very welcoming. However, the Hotel is a little tired and at best, really needs a deep clean and completely redecorated . Carpets look tired and grubby. Breakfast wasn't great either to be honest. One coffee machine was broken and both looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The hotel gets loads of big bus tours and it's really busy. It just needs a good overhaul. We've stayed everywhere else in Derry and probably won't be staying here again. Which is a real shame.
Fabulous friendly hotel. Breakfast was great and mimosas a lovely touch! Ordered fish of the day for dinner (black bream) and couldn’t have been any fresher. We also had a complimentary charcuterie platter and bottle of red wine to share. Staff wonderfully friendly, local and helpful. Parking a bit of an issue as you have to park off site but hotel recommended Bishop Street carpark which is just a 5mins walk away. Centrally located in the City of Derry. Highly recommend for a treat away. A real gem of a hotel.
This was a very good choice in terms of accommodation as it was not too expensive (in comparison to other places in Derry) and was very comfortable. The rooms we had were well decorated and the beds were comfy. The en-suite bathrooms were nice and clean. The room views were of the city and this also applies to the seating area out the back where we were able to enjoy a drink in the sun. The location is good and quiet although it is uphill a bit. This is not really a problem at all but if I had lots of luggage I'd maybe get a taxi. The staff were remarkably friendly and helpful. We met them mostly at breakfast and they sorted us out well in general with all our enquiries like how to find places in the city.
I had a negative experience at a Christmas party night at the Everglades last month. However, after calling the next day to speak with the manager, Sam, my concerns were addressed in the best way possible. Sam was amazing—he listened attentively, showed genuine understanding, and kind. To make things right, he invited our entire group back for a Sunday carvery, which we attended today. The experience was absolutely fantastic! The food was outstanding, and the staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming. Every detail was perfect, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm so glad we gave the Everglades another chance, and we’ll definitely be returning. I highly recommend their Sunday lunch carvery to everyone. Thank you, Sam, for turning things around and exceeding our expectations!
Booked Abbey B&B after being recommended by friend, have to say it was spot on , double room was ideal with en-suite with power shower, clean fresh bedding& very quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked with as much tea & coffee as wanted Lovely sitting areas inside & out which was nice as we had perfect weather House was perfectly located to historical areas of Derry & 5 minute walk to town centre. Seamus ,Helen & Ellie were perfect hosts very welcoming and friendly Would I stay here again ? Only if they got nicer biscuits instead of those ginger snaps Mary & Gordon
ผผู้เข้าพักNo 8 The Townhouse The location was central. Checking in was very easy through the use of a keypad. The room was very small and in need of decorating. The furnishings and bedding were very tired. The bathroom was clean but the quality of both the towels were substandard and badly frayed. There was no sink plug and the bath plug leaked. Basic tea and coffee supplies were available within the room but were not replenished during our stay. Our room was at the back of the property, and the pigeons in the derelict building behind were noisy and significantly impacted on our sleep. Breakfast was very basic - it would be a stretch to call it continental. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this accommodation to others visiting Derry.
We were on a driving tour of Ireland with friends. We were just staying the one night on our way around the coast down to Belfast. The location was out of town with a large carpark. We were offered a glass of prosecco on arrival which was a nice touch however, it didn't taste very nice and we pored it down the sink. Our room was of a reasonable size and the bathroom had a nice walk in shower. The bar and restaurant were not very impressive however, the food was OK. Although we had given our credit cards at reception we were told we could not charge food or drinks to our room and we had to use our credit cards which some of us had to go back to our rooms to get. Breakfast was a not very impressive limited choice buffet.
