Beautiful hotel, lots of restaurants and bars .
Wonderful array of toiletries and brekkie in bed was a lovely touch.

Yes, stunning building, but service and room doesn't live up to expectations. Some staff quite "snobby" and dismissive, some very friendly though - just inconsistent service standards.
Sink in bathroom needs maintenance, water took a long time to drain. The room type (cosy) felt a little claustrophobic also as you just look into buildings.
Had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, get someone knocking on the door who said "just checking if someone's in here" - not acceptable!
Lots of loud banging doors and drunken people throughout the hotel. Do not recommend this place if you're looking for some peace and quiet.
Based on my first experience I will not stay here again, there are better places for less!

Leider haben wir ein barrierefreies Zimmer erhalten ohne es zu bedürfen deshalb waren wir sehr enttäuscht über die spartanische Einrichtung die absolut nicht zum Zimmerpreis passt

The doorman greeted us and was really helpful, told us all about the place and where to find everything which was great, difficult to hear him as a band was playing and it was packed. As a resident there was nowhere for us to sit which is strange and far from ideal, surely guests of the hotel should have somewhere to sit?!?
Very difficult to find the room, directions very poor and no staff at all to ask for directions.
The room was nice, bed was pretty small but reasonably comfortable.
Lots of drinks available in the room, but no price lists whatsoever, please be careful as once we managed to find the routes we were glad we didn’t touch them!
Location is good, tube stations around the corner, difficult to get taxis though so you need to walk away from the hotel due to car restrictions.
We only ate for breakfast, which was nice, and reasonably priced.
Not sure this is worthy of the 5 star rating, no turn down service, facilities run down and in need of updating, but a good location for a weekend away

Great stay, planned on using the spa but this was not included with the stay and would have been extra money to use. It would have been good to have this information when booking.

This is a really nice hotel and overall we enjoyed our stay but the hotel was extremely busy with no availability of space for residents to relax at times .
Rooms are fine and service level’s excellent but we had no access to the main lobby on one of the nights due to a carol
