Paid extra for a different room due to another member of staff joining us. Flavio was more than helpful and sorted us an extra sleep space. Unfortunately he was not in duty when we checked in. Were given the old room where two colleagues had to share a bed. Not ideal. Very average overall.

We stayed in a family room for 5 and it worked really well. Very small bathroom but the room was clean and tidy. Good service and a nice English breakfast every morning. Nice area and close to Paddington St and a number of buses for all directions. We will come back next time we are in London.

Our stay at Balmoral House Hotel was great. It was centrally located close to the trains and buses. The staff was friendly and helpful. They went extra helpful when we needed an early breakfast. We didn't rent a car, but in this location, it wasn't really necessary. Be aware though, that there is no elevator.

There are actually two hotels opposite one another on either side of the street, we stayed in the second Hotel which was fine, nice, clean rooms and more spacious rooms than many places I have stayed in in London. There are no staff on hand, other than cleaners, in the second Hotel.. reception, breakfast etc is in the main Hotel, but none of those things actually mattered. Breakfast ends quite early though and we never made it.....

I just wanted somewhere to sleep and to have breakfast conveniently located in town. The Balmoral did that but it is basic. The bed would have been too small had I been much above six foot. The toilet was uncomfortably cramped. It also smelled but I am unhygenic enough to do without a shower for one night. Breakfast was the best bit but there was a queue when I left the breakfast room.

Convenient one night stay near Paddington, room basic but clean and completely fine with small shower room, TV and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast included, could be better as eggs not freshly prepared. Staff friendly and accommodating with storing our luggage. Recommended for a short stay.

The room was as advertised, three twin beds. The towel bar as well as the toilet paper holder were semi-detatched from the wall and seemed like it would fall off. The shower head holder in the shower was broken so the shower head would fall with the slightest touch. The breakfast staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, the front desk staff were abrupt and not particularly welcoming or helpful.
The location is excellent for walking to the Paddington Station which is a central hub from the airport and other transportation lines.
