Hotel Gran Garbi Mar & AquaSplash

I didn’t read reviews until after I booked the holiday and started to worry I had made the wrong decision. However I needed have worried at all. I read that people had been stolen from by housekeeping staff, the food was terrible the night manager was rude and shouted at you and that rooms were dirty. None of this applied to us. We had a great time. All the staff were friendly, there was lots of choices of foods to eat, we liked the snacks and we sampled lots of the drinks and cocktails/mocktails were lush. Lucas on reception was an absolute gem so friendly and helpful. To be fair all the reception staff were great, I just don’t know their names. Our room provided everything we needed the water park was so much fun and with no one reserving sun bed it wasn’t a 5am mad dash to put towels out. Yes it is situated on a hill which lots of reviews moaned about, but nothing can be done to change the landscape. If you cut through the sister hotel to get to the beach it’s a much easier walk so we really didn’t see the problem others stayed they had. This is definitely a place I would return to with my children. Garbi Mar you were an absolute pleasure

staff are incredible and very helpful. Fantastic water park in the back of the hotel way. Would definitely go again with the family cleaning service was amazing every day and the hotel reception were always helpful whenever I needed them.

This hotel was cheap and cheerful but we had a fabulous family holiday. The hotel is basic but you get what you pay for! Staff are all lovely amd very accommodating. Rooms basic but comfortable and clean (sometimes we had a slight damp smell but it went when the patio doors were open and air came in). We had to go a short distance to the sister hotel for dinner and entertainment (5 meters) but it was not a problem. Great selection of delicious food and entertainment which we all loved. The highlight is the aqua park at this hotel. It's well organised and fantastic fun for all ages. We had age 3 - 80 years old with us. Town and nice beach nearby but beware the hotel is on a hill. Its easier to walk through sister hotel. There are various ways to avoid the steep hill. I would recommend this hotel as there is a very good chance we will be back!

Lovely hotel. I wish I could have brought some of my nieces and nephews to the hotel. The highlight of the hotel is the aquapark at the back. The rooms were spotless. The breakfast offering could be a little better. There is a lovely bar la Tasca down the street which does great coffees and pan con tomate for breakfast.

Clean hotel with very friendly staff, limited food options. Went to gran garbi with friends and their two children, the rooms are basic but clean hairdryer, air conditioning, safe and TV as standard. Rooms cleaned daily with new towels and linen every 2 days. We were half board so breakfast was in this hotel and only had cold continental breakfast options very limited for dinner we had to go down the hill 5 minute walk to the sister hotel and there are hot food options, the dining area seats 400 and accommodates both hotels so is very hectic. The food is not great and we ended up eating elsewhere. The aquasplash and pool area are in this hotel but are shared with sister hotel so are really busy. The pool bar has very limited food options and all are pre packed. Overall value for money is reasonable but an exceptionally busy spot difficult to unwind if that what you are looking for

Sono stata in questo hotel per una gita scolastica, il servizio è pessimo, il cibo è orribile e crudo tant’è che un mio compagno ha avuto intossico per tutta la notte e lo staff non ha assolutamente aiutato anzi tutt’altro, un personale dello staff ci ha pure urlato parolacce. La sicurezza altrettanto, siamo stati derubati l’ultima notte e le telecamere non mostravano nulla. Non consiglio assolutamente questo Hotel perché ha rovinato un viaggio.

Un soggiorno deplorevole, cibo da intossico e assolutamente immangiabile, personale scontroso, servizi inesistenti e sicurezza completamente assente, ci hanno persino derubati. Se volete passare una vacanza tranquilla scegliete un altro alloggio!!!

Hotel da evitare, camere pessime, letti distrutti e insetti vivi e morti sotto i letti, serrature che non funzionano e mancanza di finestre nei bagni, personale dell'hotel scortese, volgare e molto scontroso, cibo pessimo e pericoloso, pollo quasi sempre crudo e pesce da evitare, sicurezza pessima, la stanza di fronte alla mia è stata totalmente rapinata e le telecamere non sono posizionate bene, quindi non è stato possibile riconoscere i ladri, Hotel molto distante dal centro del paese, ma è il difetto meno importante. In sostanza io consiglio vivamente di evitare gli Hotel della catena Garbi, altrimenti si rischia che la vostra esperienza venga rovinata.

No tiene la categoría de un 4*. A lo mejor en su inauguración pero no ahora. Bastante antiguo y Le hace falta una actualización importante. La neverita muy sucia , sin limpiar. Camas super incómodas, colchónes de muelles cascados.Parking siempre completo y en Lloret imposible aparcar y eso q es junio. Bufet bastante simple. Los toboganes bien. En definitiva, no repetiremos ni aconsejamos
