Aqua Hotel Bertran Park

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable, shower was ok. The food was good there was a good selection at the evening buffet and also at breakfast, drinks aren’t included in the evening meal and ordering drinks took a long time and a number of times I had to queue whilst paying for my drink. Some toiletries were included in the room and air con was good. I could hear a lot of outside noise from my room at night. I felt like there wasn’t much storage space for clothes so that could be improved! I had an issue with my TV, I saw there were apps such as Netflix and Amazon prime but couldn’t connect to the wi-fi to use the apps so was very disappointed as there weren’t many English channels, why have these apps on the TV’s if they can’t be used? The location of the hotel was good and wasn’t far from the bus station. Overall this was a very average stay but the main highlights were the cleanliness of the hotel and the food, I’d like to say that Leo on reception was very helpful and helped me to book trips/ gave me information on buses and answered any questions I had so thanks :) I would stay again but maybe the TV apps could be improved!

Fabulous hotel, clean and smart. The staff and the service was great. Everything you need is on the doorstep with just a short pleasant walk to the beach. I am already looking to book my next break with the family. Will definitely return, hopefully this year.

Can’t complain. Beautiful Hotel in the center and the receptionist were always making sure that everything was in its ways.

Lovely hotel. Extremely clean, fantastic spacious rooms with great balcony. Food and staff excellent. Swimming pool nice and clean and plenty of space to sunbath. Great location away from the ***** but walkable to the beach.

Stayed here with my daughter 13 th Oct 2023. Nice staff nice facilitys. Room was nice and very clean. Great location. Lovely bar and plenty of choice for breakfast. Lovely pool area and outside terrace. Parking area for a fee and other carparks near by

Couldn’t fault this hotel in anyway. Staff were lovely, Room was lovely and all in all just a great experience! We managed to get to the hotel from our transfer in under 10 minutes, despite the other reviews complaining about the map. Use google maps you will get there so much quicker. A good selection of food (although we only had breakfast and dinner) there’s something for everyone. Staff were lovely and so helpful. We arrived very late and yet felt welcome the moment we walked in. Rooms were gorgeous, very modern and clean. Great shower, and also provided with toiletries. Plenty of clothes storage. Shops, supermarkets and restaurants close by. Pool area was stunning. Places to sit around the pool and terrace. Beach is a 10 minute walk which was lovely to sit on. We went into Barcelona for the day on the bus and had no faults with getting there. Don’t pay any notice to the other reviews this hotel was incredible! Nothing to complain about.

Have just returned from a very enjoyable week at this hotel.Had no problem getting a sun bed every day the barman even put up and adjusted the parasol for you.The staff were all happy and helpful and friendly.Room spacious and had all you needed.Food was varied and what I expected while in Spain.There is a microwave available if you needed food hotter.The all inclusive drinks and snack menu was one of the best and comprehensive I have seen in many years of travelling.Did not experience anything negative about this hotel at all.Did not expect sea views so not disappointed. Will return

The arrival into Girona was bad, when i discovered no welfare taxi had been booked after id requested it. The Tui manager Boris tried everywhere to get one unsuccessfully, it was over an hr before we got a transfer & it was hot, after a very early start to our day 1.30 am we were exhausted and both in pain, hubby has osteoarthritis in hip as well as my medical conditions.. Firstly I MUST say the hotel reception staff so far are very nice friendly and try there best to assist, however so far TUI have not been interested at all . Im disabled and this hotel is far from being wheelchair accessible, the lifts are tiny so bad i can only use by getting out of my wheelchair folding it then sliding along side it, we can just squeeze in alongside, 2 people and a flatchair ..im inconstant pain despite my medication. I begged Tui to transfer us to a different hotel where im able to wheel in lifts sitting in my chair. They will only do so if i pay more money which im not able to do as most people ive got a tight budget, So we got left to try and cope, the beds are so hard pillows are so soft they offer no support. There's mould on the shelving in the mini fridge in the rm which was reported the second we arrived, no-one came and cleaned it or the shelf from the fridge in the shower. Wiped out interior with anti bacterial wipes. The sunbed situation is ridiculous, maybe there's 12 beds, with steep steps to the poolside. We could not secure one for days, then only place where i could put my wheel chair out of anyone way, where i could access the pool was in 1 spot, there are also deck chairs which personally im unable to us . No views apart from buildings and a dead pigeon on the roof of a neighbouring building.. weve not visited the mainland of Spain on holiday for more than 20yrs, then it was Mijas which was not as it is today. Im afraid TUI have had the last booking from us ever , i moved a holiday to this on information it would be better accessible than we had booked in Rhodes (cosmos maris). ill be going to Jet2 or olympic in future and not letting this experience go until im moved or receive a full refund on my return home on the 23rd. If you do stay here do B&B food isn't brilliant or hot!!

We arrived at the hotel and the staff were friendly and efficient at booking in. Our room was clean and adequate. There were no tea/coffee making facilities but we asked at reception and they arranged for one to be brought to our room - we were not charged for this. The hotel was central to Lloret de Mar and very close to the beach. The pool was small and there wasn't a lot of sunloungers. We only sat round here once because we went to the beach everyday. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice and again the staff were friendly and helpful. We asked to have our room changed as our neighbours were extremely noisy. The room change was done with no fuss. We did have 3 meals here and there was plenty of choice and the food was good. Wine was reasonably priced. Overall it was a nice stay and we would stay again.
