River Mansion Spa

My husband and myself had treatment at River Mansion Spa with Lucy my husband had a back massage and I had a miofacial massage would highly recommend the massage and Lucy she is really informative about what she is doing will definitely be returning.

We have just got back from a stay at River Mansion. Wow! What a find! It was a real pleasure to meet Debbie, the owner and host, who really made our stay. She is the sort of person who, after talking to her for five minutes, you feel like you have known her for ages. We booked the Woodland View Cottage as a night away for my wife’s birthday but, on arrival, Debbie had upgraded us to the larger Driver’s Cottage, as well as adding in a bottle of Prosecco and some lovely homemade cakes. Both cottages are really cute, comfortable and nicely done out. We also booked the hot-tub and sauna package which was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny! My wife spent her birthday chilling out in the hot-tub drinking champagne, then drinking Prosecco and eating cake! Lovely! There are also several really nice and private seating areas around where you can just relax and enjoy the tranquillity. We didn’t feel the need to venture any further, but there are a couple of pubs in the nearby village which we may well try next time. We didn’t realise that breakfast was also included, which was also fantastic – giant crumpets, almond croissants and a cooked breakfast! We normally go for city centres when we book a night away or a short break, so this was very different but we are so impressed! Will definitely be back.

We have just stayed at river mansion cottage & we didn’t want to leave!! Debbie & Collin are welcoming & fabulous hosts. The grounds are unreal with spectacular views. The cottage it self is warm & cosy with beautiful homely touches the welcome pack is something else 😍 Debbie recommended the savoury afternoon tea & OMG it did not disappoint (see pictures) We can’t wait to stay again!

We had a very relaxing 1 night stay at this beautiful cottage for my husband’s 50th birthday. Debbie kindly laid out a birthday hamper with a complimentary bottle of fizz! As well as a very delicious savoury and sweet afternoon tea. We treated ourselves to a hot stone massage from their therapist Lucy. It was amazing a truly relaxing experience. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway and want to treat yourself I highly recommend River Mansion Cottages and Spa. Debbie is an exceptional host, the accommodation and services are great value. You really won’t be disappointed.
