Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone

Very good location. Staffs were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant menu needs to be improved and assured to comply with the health and hygiene issues as we had bad experience after dine in. Apart from above issues it was good.

Went for a race weekend. Booked a room track facing with balcony and was not disappointed. The service was ok once you got the staff’s attention. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of continental or English and very nicely cooked.

Took the opportunity to stay here whilst doing a couple of Silverstone Drive experiences. Also took the option to take a room with a trackside balcony, glad I did this as the view onto Hamilton straight is iconic and made for good viewing of like minded people doing similar drive experiences, watching Astons, Ferraris and McLarens roaring past ahead of getting my chance to do the same added to the whole experience of my stay. The Hotel is brand new so is clean, well appointed and has that new feel. The bar and restaurant are up to standard but be aware that theses are the only facilities in close proximity so if you desire to go anywhere else it would be a long walk or a short drive to one of the nearby villages. It is a Hilton so don't expect it to be cheap, but even by Hilton standards it does seem a little expensive. However, overall it was a nice stay and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and I imagine it would be an ideal base during a race/event weekend, although don't expect to get in during F1 weekends as I was told the Hotel is basically repurposed during that week for corporate use. All in all a nice stay that added to my Silverstone experience.

What a delight to stay here. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who were courteous and polite at all times. For a hotel not too long open they need to keep an eye on some of the smaller housekeeping details, wires showing under the tv shower rails with fingerprints etc. Their gym is well equipped and at the right temperature to work out in. PLEASE tarmac the car park what a nightmare especially if you are bringing a prestige vehicle to the hotel, horrendous potholes that disguise themselves as swimming pools in bad weather.

We stayed here 31st of March to 1st of April for overnight after travelling from The Doubetree at Lincoln. We have always wanted to do the F1 museum but have never had time when at bike racing or F1 so made a point of staying overnight to do the museum early next morning. We arrived early and were advised that as Diamond members we had been upgraded to a track facing suite with a balcony. Louise, you are amazing that was extremely generous and totally unexpected. The Garden Inn at Silverstone is a fairly new property, I believe it opened for the 2022 season. This is apparent, it’s an ultra modern hotel and very much based on F1 and the bike racing. The suite we were given (bet we wouldn’t have got this if F1 was on) was lovely with twin balconies facing the track. Everywhere was clean and well presented, breakfast was buffet style and everything looked lovely, what we had was fresh and tasty. I had fresh fruit and yogurt, while my husband had toast and preserve. The hotel very generously gave us a complimentary drink, I asked for a G n T, while my husband asked for a glass of wine. I was told I couldn’t have a G n T that’s not part of the complimentary drinks. We were advised that we could have a small beer or house wine, we both chose wine. A glass of red and a glass of white, we decided to sit in the lounge area in reception as there was nowhere to sit in the bar. The wine was disgusting, a bit like something that one would sprinkle on chips, or use to sprinkle on a salad. We did tell the receptionist, who was amazing and gave us a couple of cans of Coke from the fridge, that was very kind and certainly much an improvement on the wine. The hotel is lovely and breakfast was amazing, the upgrade an extremely generous gesture, but please sort out your complimentary drinks. The hotel is also close to Stowe Park and would make an excellent place to stay if visiting the area. All in all highly recommended.

Pleasant stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone. Nicely decorated. Fresh and clean bedrooms. The restaurant has a good choice of food to choose from for dinner. Great view of the track from trackside bedrooms or the restaurant. Recommended on and off season.

I booked a night for my son and his girlfriend, for my son's birthday. They both enjoyed it very much. They checked in with no problems at all, and absolutely loved the room with the track view, that I had booked for them. They watched people enjoying driving experiences in lots of different types of cars on the track, and loved it. They had an evening meal in the restaurant and they both said the food was amazing. A good night's sleep and then back down for breakfast the next morning, which they both said was fantastic, with lots of choices. They were well looked after and my son said it's a birthday that can never be topped. The reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because of the birthday package. A few days before they were due to go, I received an email asking if I wanted to add a birthday package. As I had booked this for my son's birthday it sounded like a good idea but it didn't actually say what exactly it was. It just said "would you like to add the birthday package for £15" and an option for ticking yes or just ignore for no. No other information! I looked on the website but there was no info there either, so I downloaded the app and still no info. I rang the hotel but no one answered so I logged on my work pc and chose to ask in live chat, but that was just a computer and not an actual person so no info there either. I googled it and still didn't find anything and I also checked trip-advisor, yet still no information at all. I decided to keep calling the hotel and eventually someone answered. They explained that there were 2 packages available (the email did not state this) and that one was for birthday banners in the room, a birthday card and truffles and the other was the same but with alcohol too. My son doesn't drink so I chose the 1st package which was advertised in the email for £15. It was 2 small birthday banners, a card and some Lindt chocolate (not truffles). My son loved it and sent photos to me thanking me but when I checked the bill after they left, I was in fact charged £20 for the birthday package. I know it's not a big difference but I think people should be aware that they might be charged more than advertised, and it may not be worth it to some. They both enjoyed their stay, but I wanted to write the review for anyone else who might be searching the internet for info about the birthday package, and the actual price. Had it not been for the lack of info and the deception in price I would have given them 5 stars.
