We only ate in the restaurant, it was pretty empty. I had beef goulash with spätzle. Fatty meat and bland sauce from a packet mix. My mother had schnitzel which was very dry, father has a zigeuner hack steak which which was overpowered by smoked paprika and really not pleasant to eat. Poor quality, poor flavour and expected more. Left most of the food on our plates!

we were 2 families stays in ochsen hotel on Aug 2021, we took 4 double rooms in the newer section of the hotel, our experianceience was great, the hotel is very clean, the staff are so dreindly and willing to help with any request. the rooms were very big and the view form the balcony is so beutifull. the hotel provide the red card that allows a lot of free enterence to attractions in the black forest, the breakfast was very good . ;, and tasty

Stattlicher Gasthof mit Hotelbetrieb an sehr ruhiger Lage. Hervorragendes Restaurant mit echter schwarzwälder Gastfreundschaft. Das Zimmer mit Südbalkon war überraschend gross und mit einem neuen Bad ausgestattet. Das Nachtessen - auch das vegetarische - war sehr sorgfältig zubereitet und schmeckte hervorragend, der aufmerksame Service rundete das Erlebnis ab.
