Hotel beds are horrible for my back. Even my wife said the mattress was uncomfortable. Other than that, your hotel is quite nice !!!

The StoneHill Lawrence is very conveniently located off I-70, and it's a quiet location near KU athletic facilities. Their hotel is pet-friendly; breakfast is nice; coffee is good. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is stylish and clean. It has become our go-to place when driving home from Colorado.

We really like this hotel for its location and suites, but this time it was pretty dirty and very noisy around us. I don’t think the floor or the shower had been cleaned in a while. The structure seems like it’s wood because you can hear everything above, below, and next to the room. Lastly, the air unit made a terrible sound when it ran making the night fairly unpleasant. The staff were great, the common space is nice, and the pool was perfect. We will likely stay again because it might be the best in Lawrence, but it will be with some hesitation. It would also be nice if there were more spots to hang things in the shower/toilet room.

GREAT STAY AND EXCELLENT LOCATION AND STAFF SERVICE! EVERYONE WAS CORDIAL FROM THE FRONT DESK TO ALL THE OTHER WORKERS INCLUDING MAINTENANCE AND DINING SERVICE PERSONNEL! OUR SUITE WAS SPACIOUS WITH GREAT AMENITIES SUCH AS KITCHEN WITH AN ELECTRIC COOK TOP, MICROWAVE, FUL SIZED FRIDGE, COFFEE MAKER, SINK, A DINING AND AN IN SUITE LOUNGE AREA! OVERALL GREAT STAY!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Stopped early on a cross country drive due to a snowstorm. I’m glad I did. This was the quietest and cleanest hotel I have ever been to. Shopping center and restaurants are a few minutes down the road.

Location is far West Lawrence, so plan your day. They only had one functioning elevator, so lots of time spent waiting. But price is very good.

Clean place with everything you'll need. However, some issues standout. Walls are paper thin and, a HUGE pet peeve of mine, barn door bathroom. For the love of pete! Sure it looks good, but I don't want to do my business in the same room that I sleep in. A sliding barn door offers NO privacy. In addition, we arrived at 5 or 6 pm and the bar was closed!?!?!?!
If the above items are not an issue for you, this is a good place to stay.
