Went in October 23 just after the floods, Ironbridge village had all the flood barriers up and although the residents have a lot to cope with they are well used to the river flooding and it was interesting to see , even though we couldn't get to the flooded park and some other low lying areas. The Premier inn provided a Lovely clean quiet room, all staff pleasant and housekeeping were very helpful. The location is excellent for visiting Ironbridge and the onsite parking is great. Only problem was there was only 1 coffee/ hot water , machine , which is right next to the toaster and cereal's , it made that small area very busy and cramped even though the restaurant wasn't full. It doesn't help when guests put bread in to toast then stand guard so no one else can use it. But the food was hot and tasty. Eggs were iffy either not cooked snotty whites or if flipped to well done. Second day we went earlier and didn't have to wait as long. We would definitely stay there again . So in March 2024 we went back with family, had the same room as before and another one besides. Jemma on reception was brilliant, she sorted the rooms so we could all be on he same floor. Hotel is still great and very quiet, but breakfast was the same as in October , the lady clearing tables was great, she filled up every thing and was lovely to talk to. All in all a great stay for visiting Ironbridge and to see it not flooded and what was under water in October was very interesting .
