I had a fantastic experience. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Its location is perfect—close to shops, shopping malls, and nightlife, making it easy to enjoy everything Sandton has to offer. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area

Whether it was exploring the city or embarking on a safari adventure, the hotel's central location made it a perfect base for my travels. The service provided by the hotel staff was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, I felt genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, including a special favor of allowing me to leave my suitcase while I was away on the safari. Their flexibility and accommodating nature were greatly appreciated. The hotel itself was a sight to behold. It exuded elegance and charm, with its beautifully designed interiors and well-maintained facilities. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the inviting common areas. Southern Sun Rosebank is truly an amazing place to stay. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels welcoming, professional, and well-organized. The staff go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable, always offering friendly service with a smile. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to nearby shopping areas, restaurants, and key attractions, which makes it very convenient whether you're visiting for business or leisure. The food is another highlight — fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to suit different tastes. The overall environment is peaceful yet vibrant, giving you the best of both comfort and energy. What really stands out is the attention to detail and the consistent quality of service. Everything feels well-managed and thoughtfully designed to ensure a pleasant experience. Overall, Southern Sun Rosebank delivers an excellent stay and is definitely a place worth visiting again.

The location is spectacular. The rooms are good value for money. I liked my stay a lot. The only thing is if you’re booked into a room further away, you must know that if it is raining you have to walk outside and to the entrance to fetch your food orders or get your uber — only downside.

It's giving more 3 than 4 stars? Customer service poor. Holiday Inn was full so this was a close alternative. Had amenities but their outlets were in the kitchen far from the bed? Not very business traveller or relaxing traveller friendly. I booked a queen studio which had a kitchenette which was great for warming food etc. Decor a bit tired so could do with some love. But apart from a very dirty bottle left on the balcony it was clean. Location is excellent for Rosebank Mall even if you have to play chicken to cross the road 😆 Customer service was severely lacking. I thought Radisson Red staff were slow but at least they were always there. You can't call frontdesk . It's all QR codes and WhatsApp. Late check out would be the cost of another night R1980. Staff had a, I dunno attitude and werent very helpful. 1 security guard and 1 young lady in the lounge are the only exceptions. Outlets in the lounge and office were local only and I had to really ask to get where I could buy adapters / converters. Next time I'll go elsewhere. They're not customer focused enough for me.

All was well, the place was good. Good service from the front desk. But as a traveler with limited luggage there are some things we need eg. shower caps, bottled water, hair dryer.
