As the name suggests, it is a retreat in the jungle. There are no windows, and the trees are the natural windows. You can meet squirrels and monkeys, and you are surrounded by the sounds of many birds and insects in the morning and at night. The hotel offers a variety of activities, which can be booked. The beginning of April, when we stayed, was firefly season, and when it rained in the evening, more than a dozen fireflies surrounded our mosquito net.

Pleasant stay at this hotel which was very strategically located to the Lion Rock. The breakfast was very substantial, especially after a good hike up the Lion Rock. Not forgetting their resident dog, Ginger which was so friendly and cute.

Great place to stay if you want to explore the lions rock and the area around. Pidurangala rock is only 15min away by tuk tuk, the lions rock can be done by walk (~20min walk to entrance). But the best experience was the kindness of the hosts. The helped us in every way (explaining routes, advices on activities, organizing tuk tuk, etc.). The food was amazing and we had a lot of interesting conversations with the friendly stuff. Special thanks to Daushna, Larush & Nimal for making our stay remarkable.

Convenient location, 15 minutes to the main attractions of Sigiriya. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, delicious breakfast with a view of the rock. The price is great, we recommend. Thank you!)

Stayed for one night: - good WiFi -helped with Tuk tuks to Sigiriya rock - nice Pool - good food (ordered koththu from the menu see picture) - good towels -ac working -friendly staff -breakfast was toast with omelette and fruits

This hotel was in an excellent location. It was nearby restaurants and amenities. We had a pleasant stay except for an issue with the laundry service which was not up to par. Would advise travellers to clarify the no of items and weight of laundry before getting hotel to do it. Laundry was returned to us partially wet and a sock was missing n never found. We were asked to pay more as they claimed that our laundry exceeded the weight. It would have been good to have been informed first. It was unfortunate that the end of stay was disappointing due to this incident. The hotel manager was not very professional in handling the matter. ☹️

Простой отель, можно сказать почти в лесу. Дорог и шума минимум.. Владелец, парень Кумара и его дочери очень приветливые, но есть одно ”НО”. Парень пригласил на ужин, который приготовила его супруга. И есть большое подозрение, что именно во время это ужина из номера пропали деньги. Во время ужина Кумар уходил из-за стола так же исчезала его старшая дочь. Это не 100%, но лучше держите деньги при себе. Пропажу обнаружили через пару дней.
