Staid for 4 nights. Convenient location for my business trip, beautiful hotel, had all my requirements met (and I’m not an easy one)… Clean! Comfortable, friendly a**osphere.. However what let me write this review was surprisingly met Georgian college (Manager) working there. What an amazing person I met! Humble, kid, went beyond any possible to make sure I was accommodated the way it was needed for my trip. Dear David I hope we will meet again around the globe

My recent stay at Rixos President Hotel Astana was an absolute delight, leaving me with an indelible impression of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The check-in process was seamless, with the staff exhibiting genuine friendliness and efficiency. The lobby exuded a refined ambiance with its chic décor and tasteful furnishings, creating a sense of anticipation for the lavish experience that awaited within the hotel. Entering my room was like stepping into a haven of tranquility. The contemporary design, coupled with thoughtful touches, provided a perfect balance between style and comfort. This hotel offered an impressive array of amenities that elevated my stay to new heights. Если хотите испортить себе отдых, то обязательно остановитесь в данном отеле. Я бывала в разных местах. В юности и в не очень дорогих, но такого еще не встречала. На ресепшн относятся так, будто я бесплатно пожить очень слезно попросилась. Никто не улыбается, никто не рад видеть. Заселение в 3, мы приехали в 4. Нам дали от номера карточки, я спросила красивый ли вид. На что сотрудник ответила: нормальный. А мне нормальный не нужен. Мы приехали на день рождения мужа. Я заранее звонила и просила определенный вид, говорила, что праздник. Меня уверили, что будет красивый вид и сладкий комплимент. Естественно не было никаких комплиментов, даже устно с днем рождения никто не поздравил. Номер с видом нам пришлось ждать еще час. У нас был оплачен представительский номер. Мы сказали, что пойдем подождать этот час в представительский лаундж. Ключ нам пока не дали, но сотрудник сказала, что позвонит и предупредит, чтобы нам открыли. Мы подняли, стояли под дверью 10 минут, никто не открыл. Я звонила на ресепшн, мне пообещали еще раз передать. Нам все равно никто не открыл, пришлось спускаться. С нами поднялся сотрудник. Оказалось, что его карта не работает. В итоге 30 минут нас гоняли туда сюда и только после этого открыли. Представительский лаундж смех. Никаких закусок там нет. Лежат несколько фруктов, стоит гора воды и поменьше сока. Только после того, как мы просидели минут 10 вынеси 2 бутылки вина уже начатые и пиво в холодильник. Вопрос зачем их вообще прячут? В чем тогда смысл этого лаунджа. В 5 часов нас заселили. В номере не было ни одного халата, полотенца на одного и отсутствие зубных щеток. Я позвонила на ресепшн, мне пообещали принести. Прошло 30 минут, я снова позвонила. Мне снова пообещали. В итоге 40 минут мы ждали. Потом мы пошли гулять и я решила погладить чуть помятую в чемодане рубашку. Вот не знала я, что такой утюг может быть в номере пятизвездочного отеля, а не на помойке. Начала гладить с воротника и сразу испортила. Смотрю, а утюг то в жутком состоянии. В номере много что уже уставшее и требует ремонта. В общем испортили нам праздник в этом отеле своим ужасным обслуживанием.

I recently redeemed my complimentary night with breakfast at the Ritz Carlton Astana and the experience was delightful. Club Connoisseur members benefit from several perks, one of which is a free night in a deluxe room, which oozed luxury and comfort. That night I also took advantage of my 20% off a cocktail master class that was interesting, fun, and relaxing. I would like to acknowledge several staff members who made a great impression on me for their professionalism, kindness, and competence. At check-in, Aslan the bellman, braved semi-apocalyptic weather (gale force winds and sheets of rain) to open the very heavy hotel doors for me and retrieve my bag from the taxi. Altynay, the receptionist, checked me in and gave me a beautiful room on a high floor so I could enjoy a view of the city. Sayan, who is in charge of Club Connoisseur, was there to welcome me in person and wish me a nice stay. Later, after I came back from the spa, I had to go back to reception as, embarrassingly, I couldn’t remember my room number (I’d lost the key card sleeve Altynay had given me with the room number on it). Ulkbek, at reception, quickly found me in the system and kindly offered to give me a new sleeve so I wouldn’t forget my room number again. I accepted the offer! That night I went to the cocktail master class at Mokki and, after Aizhan the hostess (who recognized me!) showed me to my seat, Alexander, the mixologist, made it fun, lighthearted, and educational. I now know how to make 4 different kinds of summer spritz cocktails! I met a French-Canadian couple at the class, and we spoke French a lot. At some point, Aidana, who was waiting on the master class participants, made a great impression on all of us when she asked us in flawless French, which one of the snacks we would prefer! She also was kind enough to give me snacks on soft bread as I have braces and cannot bite into hard foods. The next morning, I had breakfast at Mokki. The eggs were perfect and Symbat made me the perfect weak americano coffee I prefer to drink in the morning. Alfonso greeted me in Italian – always nice to see him! Even Altynay, who is in charge of marketing at the hotel, came to greet me and ask how my stay was going. At checkout, Mukhtar came to get my bag from my room and carry it down to the lobby. At reception, Nargiza checked me out quickly and efficiently and that was the end of a very special 24 hours. At least, this time, Aslan didn’t have to brave the elements when he helped me with my bag to the cab! Apologies for the very long-winded review, but the level of attention I received from everyone I have named (and perhaps some I forgot) required special mention. I felt very special and pampered by everyone and I will certainly be back. The training the Ritz Carlton Astana employees receive is working and congratulations to all!
