Struttura nuovissima, ubicazione centrale. Stanze ampie decorate con molto gusto. Colazione ottima con prodotti di qualità sia dolci che salati. Personale molto cortese. Ottimo!!
We had to stay in the area, after my Son and grandsons, had a car accident in the area, we booked it from overseas and we were very pleasantly surprised as to how comfortable it was, we only stayed one night but was worth it. We had two different rooms my son and family stayed in one that hold them well and they slept very well, as well as I did in my room. Bathroom and shower were very good, and wifi worked fine in the room. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was impeccably served and the waiter went out of his way to serve us, food was good and plentiful. As for breakfast, it was plentiful and very tasty, coffee was good as well as all the other items they serve. Parking is excellent and one per room, no complaints. all is very safe Excellent hotel and there is a Carrefour hypermarket nearby, Would take it even if the area is a bit apart from Torino.
The Hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Only the room's insonorization was not excellent as we could hear people in the next room and pillows were too low. We didn't try the breakfast so we can't say anything about that,
Last minute stay here after a delayed flight. Arrived 1am, qucik check in, helpful staff. Rooms quite small, perhaps a reflection of the building's heritage, but comfortable, quiet and clean. Decent breakfast buffet. Now my go to hotel for Turin layovers.
I found this hotel quite by accident during the recent taxi strike. I had a 6:00 am flight to catch and my downtown hotel couldn’t secure me transportation to the airport for my early morning flight. However the downtown hotel found and booked me a room at Romantic Hotel Furno, which was billed as an airport location. The manager assured me that he could secure a ride to the airport the next morning. I expected a nondescript airport hotel and was surprised when we drove from Turin city center (a 20 minute drive) about 10-15 minutes past the airport into the countryside. (After I luckily found 1 taxi driver at the train station who wasn’t participating in the strike). We turned into a lovely gated hotel where I found a beautifully restored farm surrounded by a few acres of garden, which in turn was surrounded by fields of corn. The manager was extremely professional and kind and welcomed me to the hotel and confirmed that he had booked a 4:30 am transport to the airport for me. I checked into my clean, though modest, room and went downstairs for dinner al fresco. The dinner was delicious and the service impeccable. I enjoyed seeing two large family groups from the local village arrive for a special evening out. It was a beautiful night and the perfect way to calm my nerves after the stress of dealing with the strike. Could not recommend more if you would like a launching point to explore the outskirts of Turin, or if you will be taking an early morning flight from the Turin airport. Many thanks to Romantic Hotel Furno!
Wow! I just have to say WOW - the hotel, the staff, the location & the opportunity to visit the Fiat test track! Firstly, the room - really spacious and well laid out - clean comfortable and a bonus of a walk in shower. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom amenities were plentiful and replenished often. Secondly, the staff Silvio at the front desk greeted us with such warmth and kindness- it was our first time visiting Turin and he could not have been more helpful - advise on wine, cheese and places to see. The breakfast & dinner staff were so welcoming - service was IMPECCABLE!!! The food was plentiful, varied and delicious. Thirdly, the location perfect for us- quick walk to the Metro, bus stop, grocery store, Eataly and the Lingotto shopping mall (with TONS of options for snacks, gelato, coffee or food). We would definitely return to Turin and the DoubleTree Lingotto is the place we’d want to be !!!
I must admit I had my concerns. My first impression I had when I saw this place while booking it was that it is some kind of a youth hostel. Yet, I took the chance and booked it. I am glad I found this most welcoming hotel. This is a mixed facility. The first 4 floors are only for university students and the top 2 (5+6) are for hotel guests. The decoration is great, new and maintained greatly. They even installed a new decorative wall paper in our floor even that the walls were in a very good shape. The staff is great, both at the front desk and the Baristas at the open dining area. The lower ground of the hotel is amazing. It has laundry machines and dryers operated by a convenient app provided by the front desk. It has quiet learning area, a gym, cooking stations, table tennis, pool table and a large screen to project your movies. Breakfast is very basic, yet, the coffee is great. The rooms terraces face the interior yard in which students may gather and have some fun. Don't mistake, it is fun, not extra noise or anything like it.
LLucia P.Eccellente.
Camera molto grande, accogliente, luminosa e perfettamente riscaldata, letto comodissimo, bagno con doccia molto ampio, colazione varia e abbondante, staff molto disponibile.
After my experience in this hotel, I have learned once for all that it's better not to be influenced too much by the negative (and sometimes also positive) reviews here in tripadvisor. I just wanted to tell that in my case everything was perfect: I stayed in a clean and overall good room, receptionists were polite and helpful, breakfast in the morning was very good, just what I should expect from a 3 star hotel, and actually the croissants were warm and just fresh. The communication with the hotel was perfect from the very beginning. Honestly I couldn't find any fault in anything. So I can really recommend this hotel for visiting the city, as the metro stop is also very near
I stayed at this hotel for a week in June, and the customer service really stands out from the rest. The staff is available and equally positive regardless of the time of day. I was a little unlucky with the AC in my room and had to change rooms initially, but the AC still didn't work there. A girl from the front desk came over several times and stayed until she made sure the problem was solved. On our early morning flight home, the receptionist on occasion helped us with a taxi during the night. He made sure we got coffee and breakfast to take away, even though we only had a few minutes before the taxi arrived. They helped us a lot with great advices for restaurants nearby as well. I highly recommend this hotel.
