I stayed one night at EasyHotel Sheffield City Centre and found it simple, clean, and very affordable. The room was compact but comfortable — perfect for a quick stopover. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city’s nightlife and a discounted rate for parking at Q-Park, which was a big plus.
A couple of downsides: the bathroom had some mould, which seemed easy to clean with a bit more attention, and no breakfast was offered, which would have been convenient.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option that delivers on the basics — just right for a short city stay.
Nice hotel for the price. The rooms are on the small side which is to be expected from a budget hotel, but it was clean and modern, and a nice bathroom and decently sized shower. The main negative was that the shower water pressure was poor.
I would stay here again when next visiting Sheffield!
very nice cleav hotel stayed here many times recently its got everything you need and on this stay the management went above and beyond and upgraded us to a superior king room for nothing exceeds expectations
I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
We were surprised how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. I went with an old friend for a mid-week city break in Sheffield. The hotel is pretty close to theb train station and we walked there easily with our wheeled suitcases. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The bathroom had a bath and a shower; the bedroom itself was a decent size. I don't think the electronic safe was working correctly, or maybe it was used error, not sure about that, lol. There was a fridge in the room which was great and unexpected; the wi-fi was also excellent. The staff were friendly, and we could get more coffee, tea and milk from reception. We didn't go to the gym or spa, we did go swimming and it's a lovely, big, well heated pool. There were also two steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room and a discovery shower (a hot or cold shower with four sprays and red and blue lights). There wasn't a machine to spin the swimwear in, but there were polythene bags for wet swimwear. A lovely touch in the gym reception was a coffee machine, where you could sit down and have a free cappucino or whatever your fancy is. We got the train to Meadowhall which took 5 mins and cost £2.90 return (with our senior rail cards). Some locals said the tram was even easier, but we found the train easy enough and very fast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break in Sheffield.
I wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.
DDr_travelI had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Sheffield! The location is unbeatable, right next to the beautiful Peace Gardens, making it perfect for a relaxing and convenient visit. The room was immaculate—new, modern, and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly made it special was the staff's attention to detail—they surprised us with a lovely gesture to celebrate our honeymoon, which made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel! 🌟
ผผู้เข้าพักOne day of work related visit. Very decent hotel in the heart of Sheffield with great amenities and good value for the price.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, granted a complimentary late check-out with no fuss.
Breakfast was really great, apart from not serving hot chocolate drink.
Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Sheffield.
Highly recommended
ผผู้เข้าพักAccommodation was simple, comfortable and spotless. Was close to the Sheffield Ice - where I was going. Lots of places to eat close by. Certainly recommend this place for anyone attending Sheffield Ice.
LLauraLovely clean and welcoming hotel with great facilities. There is a spa and pool at the hotel and a restaurant. We ate in the bar area and the food and service was excellent. The receptionist was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.
