An Absolutely Exceptional Stay in the Heart of London!
Our stay at Hyde London City was nothing short of exceptional, and we completely agree with all the glowing reviews – this hotel is a true gem!
The location is simply unbeatable, right in the vibrant City of London, making it incredibly convenient for exploring St. Paul's Cathedral, hopping on the City Thameslink, and accessing all the capital has to offer. The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, perfectly blending historic charm with modern, stylish, and vibrant touches – it truly creates a unique and inviting atmosphere.
What really made our experience stand out was the outstanding staff and service. Every team member we encountered was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, and our room was wonderfully comfortable, providing a quiet and restful haven after busy days. The amenities were also excellent, contributing to a seamless visit.
I would just note that the bathroom doors, while stylish, don't allow for complete privacy. This wasn't an issue for me as a solo traveler, but it's something couples might want to be aware of. However, this is a minor detail that absolutely did not detract from our overwhelmingly positive experience.
We had a truly fantastic time and would wholeheartedly recommend Hyde London City for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located base in London!
ROOM is not small but very tiny, stayed 3 nights for single occupancy. Had to step into toilet to close front door. from front door its one step to left toilet/bath and one step to right a queen bed. there was a weird pillar in middle of room as well.
noisy dripping sound from above, all day, all night, ask to change rooms which comes with condition to check out in morning and ”try” checking in again in late afternoon/evening.
i gave up and they came to change my room shower head while i was away which is totally not the noise origination....
they don't clean rooms daily. no phone in room had to go down to fetch amenities and water if u need
experience wise not good for GBP250+/night. On the good side, room, towels, bedsheets are clean. if you just there for 1 night its ok but not more.
I have no idea how this hotel is rated as 4 stars. The experience is disaster.
First, the receptionist was not there when we arrived, waited for 5 minutes, that’s fine.
Then, when we asked for check-in, she just confirmed the name and gave us a key card without asking for our ID, serious security concern here.
Third, the lift is so small, only can fit one person and one luggage.
Forth, the room door is very hard to open. When we asked the help from the receptionist, she just asked us to push the door hard, I went up and try again, it’s hard to push in. I went down to ask the receptionist again, she did not even try to attend to my room and help us. Poor and terrible experience here.
Btw, it’s the night of 17th Oct
Отель понравился, удобное месторасположение, отличный персонал. Хороший Английский и континентальный завтрак. Я бы рекомендовала добавить овощи на завтрак, чтобы он был идеальный.
AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in room 302 in March 2026 for 1 night. I chose this hotel because I stayed there before and I was very impressed. This time I was given the same room again, I liked the room. It has a large comfy bed and a nice clean bathroom. The breakfast was really good as I like vegetables and they do great omelettes and fresh vegetables. The reception staff are very kind and helpful during my visit and remembered me from the last time I stayed. The hotel is in very easy access to the underground. On this visit the Elizabeth line was closed and I had to get a bus to agents Hill. This was very easy. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel including an all you can eat from £11.99. I always have a good Stay at this hotel. There is a kettle with plenty of T and coffee. Some people staying on my floor were very noisy but that was all I can criticise really as it wasn’t the hotels fault. Very kind staff. There is a decent TV in the room and plenty of towels. During this trip and overnight stay I visited the Ramses exhibition at Battersea and images are included in this feedback. A good hotel to stay in that’s great value just outside central London about 20 mins on train.
