ผผู้เข้าพักSanta Catalina Hotel is undeniably a historic architectural landmark, but as a hotel experience it fell well below expectations. On arrival, the service felt cold and somewhat pretentious rather than welcoming, with concierge staff coming across as detached and pompous rather than genuinely hospitable.
A key reason for choosing the hotel was the prominently advertised rooftop pool and views, only to discover after check-in that access is restricted to suite guests. The spa is similarly limited unless you pay €15 per person for 90 minutes, which feels disproportionate given the modest facilities. These restrictions are not clearly communicated at booking and leave a sense of being misled.
Several of the lounge and communal areas were also frequently reserved for corporate events and seminars, which further diminished the sense of a relaxed hotel environment. As a guest, it often felt as though you were secondary to business groups and functions moving through the space, even in more personal hotel moments such as walking through common areas in a robe.
In-room entertainment is very dated, with a non–smart TV offering only basic local and satellite channels. Room service carries a €5 delivery surcharge, while on-site dining is largely limited to high-end fine dining with little casual alternative.
It is also worth noting that Las Palmas sits under a noticeably less favourable microclimate than the south and west of Gran Canaria. During our stay, conditions were consistently cloudy, windy, and cool, which further limited the enjoyment of the hotel’s already restricted amenities. For those seeking reliable sun and beach weather, the southern or western parts of the island are a better choice.
Overall, despite its striking heritage setting, the combination of underwhelming service, restricted access to advertised facilities, dated in-room amenities, corporate use of guest spaces, and disappointing weather made for a stay that did not feel justified by the price and is not somewhere we would return to. The atmosphere and clientele also skew noticeably toward an older demographic.

IIrmak AkgunTo be honest the location of the hotel is perfect. You can stay in Palma- old city then if you have a car you can enjoy and go anywhere you want so you can both see both side old city & playas( south of the island) - when it comes to the hotel, of course they are 3 star and it was high then our expectations.. breakfast is not strong but if you want to start to the day with something more than coffee and croissants it is good.. cleanliness and amenities are good for a 3 star hotel, also thank you so much for the lady who works in night shift- she was so kind and helpful.

ผผู้เข้าพักBon hôtel de grande taille, chambre classique avec grand lit, l'hôtel est bien placé entre le centre historique et la presqu'île pour naviguer entre les deux. Les Bus sont accessibles facilement. Dommage que la voie rapide passe entre l'hôtel et la mer. La piscine sur le toit est un petit plus même si nous n'avons pas pu en profiter à cause du vent.

BBruno ValencianoLa ubicación es muy buena, pero las instalaciones del establecimiento están muy deterioradas y desfasadas. Las fotografías no reflejan la realidad, la ropa de cama es distinta y parece tener varias décadas, quizá desde los años 80... la puerta de la ducha da miedo. Es una pena, porque con un poco de inversión (capex) el establecimiento podría ser una referencia. Actualmente da un poco de grima.

ผผู้เข้าพักDie Lage des Hotels ist einfach perfekt – zentral, ruhig und ideal, um alles schnell zu erreichen. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und sympathisch, man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen.
Besonders positiv ist die Sauberkeit: Die gemeinschaftlich genutzten Bereiche wie Dusche, Bad, Toilette, Wohnzimmer, Küche und die Dachterrasse werden mehrmals täglich gründlich gereinigt. Dadurch herrscht stets eine angenehme und gepflegte Atmosphäre.
Insgesamt ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Hotel, in dem man sich rundum wohlfühlt!

EEmika sanフロントデスクが無いので、チェックインが少し複雑で時間がかかりました（WhatsAppでホテルスタッフと連絡を取る必要あり）。早く着いても早くチェックインしたり荷物を預けるということはできないので注意が必要です。ヨーロッパに比べてカナリアの方は湿度が高いのか、部屋が少しカビ臭く、部屋も湿ってる感じがしました。窓もありますが、私たちの部屋には中庭？に面した窓しか無く、ずっと窓もカーテンも閉めていました。また、他の部屋の音楽が聞こえてきたりしたので壁は薄いと思います。
ベッドルームとバスルームを隔てるドアは不安定で上の隙間が大きいので入浴時や排泄時などの音などを気にする方にはお勧めしません。また、バスルームにはシャンプーとシャワージェルが一体化したものしか置いていないため、気になる人はシャンプーやボディソープを持参された方がいいと思います。
部屋にはケトルや電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、シンク、食器類が備られているので簡単な食事なら準備できます。連泊する人にはいいのではないでしょうか。
