Waking up to the expansive, uninterrupted vista of the ocean was a daily highlight, a serene and picturesque experience that truly lived up to its name.
What truly set Yicheng apart was the exceptional hospitality. The owner's dedication to ensuring a perfect stay was evident in every interaction. They were always readily available, radiating warmth and friendliness, and proactively offering assistance. It felt less like a hotel stay and more like being welcomed into a cherished friend's home.
The suite itself was a masterclass in modern comfort and thoughtful design. Every detail, from the sleek furnishings to the state-of-the-art amenities, was carefully curated to enhance the guest experience. The room was not only beautiful but also incredibly functional, providing all the conveniences one could desire.
Breakfast at Yicheng was a culinary delight. The seafood noodle soup, a local specialty, was a standout dish – fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start to the day. It was a testament to the homestay's commitment to showcasing the best of the island's cuisine.

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
Overall: highly recommended!

ผผู้เข้าพัก民宿老闆是一對老夫妻，為人很和善，剛開始我們訂的是一間朝北的榻榻米，我一到民宿，老闆就跟我説有一間朝北的大床房空着可以給我升級🥳🥳。民宿位置就大王沙灘附近，步行的話10分鐘就可以吧，，去往大王沙灘的路上就會路過他們的菜市場，還有他們的美食一條街。就是房子位置在半山腰，下山容易，上山難，特別我們帶着寶寶，寶寶還不願意走，這個希望多麼希望有輛電動車，但是因為島上的路太多彎彎繞繞了，騎電動車確實很危險，所以島上都是一些出租車🚕（出行全靠這個了）。我們第二天就去菜場買了菜讓民宿老闆給我們加工，做的乾淨又衞生，口感也不錯。

The private room looks just like the Trip.com image. Very clean. Bed is very firm futon-style w/2 pillow choices. Window gives sound of waves & fresh sea breeze. Aircon also works well, if needed.
Excellent hot water in the all-in-one bathroom. Water pressure was powerful. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, hair dryer all provided.
Hostel is 2 minute walk to Longquan Beach & 2 minute walk to bus stop, very convenient location. Bus costs 3¥ & hostel owner will graciously explain transport to other villages, other beaches, and to Houtouwan (abandoned village--it's fantastic!) on Shengshan island--round trip by bus is 12¥.
This hostel is a perfect choice for budget-minded travelers who want clean, inexpensive, no-fills lodging. The friendly, knowledgeable owner, who was previously a teacher, speaks a bit of English, and is a very fine cook! Ask her about food--her meal prices are very reasonable and it's fresh.

LLu tuลืมถ่ายรูปห้องที่จองไว้พักได้ 3 คน แต่แนะนำให้พัก 2 คน เพราะโต๊ะน้ำชาต้องนอน 1 คน ไม่ใช่เตียงคู่แต่เป็นเตียงเดี่ยว 2 เตียง ถ้าไม่รังเกียจความบีบคั้นก็พักที่บ้านเขาได้ 3 คืน นี่เป็นเวลาที่นานที่สุดที่ฉันได้พักในจุดชมวิวนี้ในบรรดาการมาเยือนผู่โถวทั้ง 5 ครั้ง แต่การได้เดินเล่นรอบๆ ก็สนุกดี อย่างเดียวเท่านั้น ประเด็นคือค่าจุดชมวิวสูงเกินไปจริงๆ! รู้สึกสูงขึ้นกว่าช่วงก่อนระบาดมาก...
