Hyatt Place is an exciting and innovative new select service hotel offering more of what is important to todays travelers. Our guests enjoy a spacious guestroom with a 42 inch high-definition flat panel TV, our signature Hyatt Grand Bed, a plush Cozy Corner oversized sofa sleeper that is separated from the sleeping area, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi internet access throughout the hotel. The innovation extends beyond the guestroom. Our Gallery is a warm and open area that features a self-registration kiosk, an intimate coffee and wine cafe, a TV den and an e-room with free access to a public computer and printer. Free breakfast for all guests. Our breakfast includes premium ingredients, cage-free eggs, and regional chef-inspired dishes. In addition to beer and wine we now offer an assortment of alcoholic beverages. Pet Policy - 1-6 nights a 75 Non-Refundable fee. 7-30 nights a 75 Non-Refundable fee plus an additional 100 cleaning fee. Maximum of 2 dogs per room are permitted. Weight must be 50 lbs or less max of 75 lbs per room. Fees are in USD. Service Animals are exempt from fees. The front desk staff were super accommodating and friendly! As were all of the employees at this location. Everyone went out of their way to make sure people were cared for. It’s close to most places in Irmo.

The hotel room itself was nice and spacious. The breakfast was sparse and the employees were rude except for the front desk clerk. She was very nice but the folks in the breakfast area were rude to everyone and there was barely anything out to eat. We had to ask multiple times for any type of bread to run through the toaster. The eggs were actually a shade of green. I have photos and a video if you need them.

Great staff , clean rooms , quiet safe area , coffee and water was available upon arrival. Definitely would recommend tho I have had the Hyatt experience before always great to ease travel lag with family, spacious suite style rooms.

This place is under a major reconstruction when we stayed. The room was suppose to have a hottub and didnt. It wasnt bad. We just needed a place to lay our heads after a long day on the road. Price was definitely cheap enough and the room was very nice. Breakfast was great. However, the area was not where we will stay again. For a quick few hours of rest it was fine.

In the past, this has been a better hotel. The current inconveniences are all due to an ongoing renovation project, which affects the comfort and good feel of the property normally. During this day, the rooms have not been completely finished. There is cleanup and finer touches inside the rooms that remain to be done. I expect when the renovation project is completed, this property will return to a fully excellent rating. By the way, the breakfast is still superior to almost any other in the night staff at the front desk is stunningly, efficient, and friendly. (Courtney, I’m referring to you.!)

I wish I spent the money elsewhere. Service was horrible, why does it take an hour to get towels? Also when did refreshing rooms was to just put new towels out. Nothing was done. Renovation needed more work. No reason for the door not to close, things falling apart just look like they didn't try. No one tried. The only good thing was breakfast and that's it!

Horrible! The hotel was in the middle of renovations and construction! Walked thru a construction zone on the same floor as my room! The room smelled like fumes! Tried to change rooms but they didn’t have! Worse stay I ever had in a hotel
