We spent two weeks at the Mahdia Palace hotel, from the end of July to the beginning of August. We have very good impressions. The hotel is clean, very well maintained. The staff is friendly, especially our wonderful maid Rashida. The security on the beach and in the hotel is excellent. The rooms are very large, the beds are comfortable, especially the toilet, and especially the bathroom. The beach is beautiful, big and clean. The only complaint is the restaurant, which serves an all-inclusive meal. The hall is not big enough to accommodate all the guests, so schedules are made and people wait. 15 minutes to the next shift, in front of the door..I don't think that's right for a 5 star hotel. It's very crowded, we couldn't enjoy the delicious meals. It feels like we're in a student restaurant. When people are on vacation, they don't want to to look at the clock and calculate when the lunch shift is. After 20 years, we decided to go to Tunisia, in previous years we visited Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Malta, Italy, etc. and we have not experienced such a bad organization of restaurants, as here.
