Great place to stay and atmosphere is very attractive, very close to BTS bus stop and you get rented scooter as well here and the rooms are very beet and clean. The staff here is very cooperative and the prices are very affordable, also there are many restaurants surrounded here .
Small Hotel and the only negative thing is that there is not enough space in room for clothes, but very clean and amazing service from the staff!! They organised so many tours for us at a very good price ❤️ thank you for everything we will be back ❤️
Brilliant powerful aircon, modern clean spacious rooms, huge bed. Good bathroom and shower. Beautiful pool and tropical surrounds, great for the price. Airport transfer - quick and easy. Complimentary coffee and kettle.

Overall our stay at the Shellsea was disappointing for a 5 star luxury hotel. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the reception staff were polite and very helpful. In terms of eating, there are two restaurants but the menu is the same in both places and didnt change at all while we were there. The food was average. Service at the Fin bar at lunchtime was slow and inefficient, often waiting more than half an hour for food and then being served the wrong dish. They ran out of basics such as fries for 3 days in a row and one occasion I was served fish which clearly was off. Staff responded to these events by knocking items off the bill or giving us free fresh fruit but poor service at the Fin bar was a recurring theme. The activities staff were cheery and always willing to try to help but apart from pool aerobics there was little in the way of activities being offered. There were plenty of kayaks available but only two paddleboards, one of which had a split in it and was missing the ankle tether. And there were not enough sun beds which inevitably leads to customers reserving beds with towels first thing in the morning. Also the cushions on the sun beds were old and tired. Perhaps it was because we stayed over New Year. The hotel was offering a gala dinner which for our family of five would have cost nearly £1000! The hotel bars and restaurants closed at 3pm and the shuttle bus didn’t run that evening. Staff seemed preoccupied with preparing for the event for several days before. We booked one boat trip at the hotel reception. We had to wait an hour and a half to be picked up by the boat then when we were dropped back at the pier there was no pick up as arranged so we had to get a taxi. The boat staff were totally disinterested throughout the trip. To be fair we did get a partial refund for this trip thanks to the diligence of Reena at the reception desk. Thank goodness for the God Le restaurant which is a 5 min walk from the hotel as this proved to be one of the eating highlights of our holiday! We definitely won’t return or recommend this hotel to others.
ผผู้เข้าพักWhen we booked this resort there was a really shortage of reviews available and so hopefully this provides some information to help potential visitors. In short this is an amazing place that we’d thoroughly recommend; it was incredible value and more than met up to our expectations! Overall resort The resort is tucked away off a main road so feels very peaceful but is also walkable to a seven eleven and a couple of nearby restaurants. On site is a main restaurant that at time of writing is open for breakfast and dinner, as well as a really brilliant cafe that’s open during the day and sells coffee, and a range of meals as well. There is also a small but we’ll equipped gym with basically brand new equipment and one of the longest nicest swimming pools slap back in the middle of the resort; alongside a pool bar where snacks and drinks are also served. Given we are staying over Christmas the resort is super quiet; presumably a result of Thailand only recently reopening post-Covid Staff and service Staff have been generally really friendly and helpful; there aren’t millions of them which I guess reflects the low occupancy but they’ve helped us every time we have asked for anything and service in the restaurant has been polite, friendly and efficient Room We are staying in 3101 and 3102 which together make a vast family villa which is just perfect for ourselves and our eleven year old; he can have space to himself but also be around us whenever he wants. The rooms are to a proper, high, five star standard in almost every way. Great coffee machine, relatively inexpensive minibar, huge bed, an outdoor overwater seating area (well two one for us and one for our child), two outdoor baths, ample storage, modern tvs, everything you could ask for. Food Breakfast is good; with an egg station, a range of Asian food, fruit, etc. it’s not as extensive as many Western resort breakfasts but you should find something to most tastes. The main menu is delicious; we’ve been really really happy with everything we’ve eaten so far, some off the scale nice curries. The menu is also really good for children, with burgers, pizza, spaghetti bolognaise all available and done really well Ambience The place is beautifully laid out and the lagoon adds an incredible atmosphere, with the whole resort set up against a mangrove jungle area. We travel a lot (my wife runs a travel business) but the resort is really quite different from anywhere we’ve stayed before, and in my mind all the better for it. Things to improve A few bits were slightly negative; the shower pressure and temperature is pretty variable so they could improve this; we arrived early before our room was ready so we didn’t get a chance to go to the room by gondola which was a really cool thing they offer normally on arrival and we’d have really loved. Strangest of all is that they don’t serve alcohol; this wasn’t a massive problem for us as we’re not huge drinkers. It’s also easily solved as
