Hotel des Roches

PERSONNEL EXÉCRABLE !!!! Ayant un besoin urgent d'accéder à des toilettes, ma compagne s'est présentée à l'accueil de cet hôtel qui lui a présenté une fin de non recevoir. Il faut préciser que j'avais connu cet hôtel lors de précédents voyages pour mon travail et qu'en 14 ans son entretien général semble absent !!! Des avis de locaux vont dans ce sens...

Avoid this place. First, and probably most important, is the air conditioning doesn’t work well. The air inside the bedrooms is damp and full of mold. I tried to check out early, but they refused to do so without charging me for the full week charge. I felt trapped. The rooms are dirty, the public area is dirty, the gym is filthy, and the parking lot is used as a hangout for local teenagers who litter the grounds with trash and bottles. If you think you will go to the beach, you won’t it is mud. The place is in serious need of being raised. It is a health hazard. I was happy to have a fresh tetanus shot before arriving.

Stayed 2 nights - had to get the mattress changed after the first night and the second night the restaurant was closed for a private function so had to eat out… however the hotel is in a great location with easy access for the islands and space centre Was lovely having breakfast al fresco

The property itself is a bit dated and could certainly do with a facelift. But the stunning beachfront location more than makes up for the dated luxury and is certainly one of the best options for a stay in Korou LOCATION: Excellent Oceanfront location at the tip of the town! DINE + DRINK: No Bar, just a bland big restaurant. The terrace seating looked wonderful in the pics, but they were not laid out because of the rainy season when we visited! ROOM: We stayed in Room 108, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Spectacular view of the Ocean and the swinging Palm trees from the Lovely balcony attached to the room; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good Cosmetics FACILITIES: The pool was closed when we visited, so cannot review it. Super basic and dated Gym with a basic range of weights and worn-out machines! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Meidum-speed Wi-Fi(35 Mbps) that works well all over the property. Odd foreign Plasma TV screen dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment - But ONLY IN FRENCH!!! So if you don't understand french, don't even bother turning on the Telly!

Rien à reprocher ! Les chambres étaient d'un très grand confort et spacieux. Petit déjeuner très bien achalander Réservez les chambres côtés plage au deuxième étage, c'est plus agréable. Salle Séminaire opérationnel. Internet 100% disponible.

Ascenseur en panne Eau de la douche et du lavabo orange, connue de la direction mais non signalée ni lors de la réservation ni à l’arrivée. Tv non fonctionnelle. Une catastrophe pour un 4 étoiles a fuire il y a beaucoup mieux ! Rapport qualité prix zéro

Hôtel bien situé à la pointe des roches et belle piscine. En revanche, literie déplorable, transats cassés, pas de possibilité de boire ne serait ce qu’un jus de fruits avant 19h (certaines personnes viennent même avec leur glacière et propres boissons à la piscine), décoration vieillotte. Établissement pas à la hauteur des 4 étoiles (même si ce sont des étoiles guyanaises).

Très bon accueil des réceptionnistes, notamment Isabelle, toujours le sourire et de bonnes infos pour un bon séjour. Le restaurant est par contre très mal géré et il est regrettable de n'avoir que des ouvertures aléatoires du bar.

Je voyage beaucoup, je sais reconnaître les bons plans, week-end dernier en famille, accueil réception au top rien à dire, nous avons laissé notre fille en bas âge, elle a été bien traité par la réceptionniste, par contre, il ya eu un problème de clim général, réceptionniste dépassé par les clients mécontent, nous avons demandé de parler à un responsable mais personne n'était présent, personnel dépassé mais reste gentil et professionnel, pareil avec la restauration, nous avons eu un accueil de roi, très bel hôtel bien placé, mais apparemment géré par une bande de bras cassé, je pleins leur personnel. Même gratuit je reviendrai pas, ma femme et moi nous comptons se faire rembourser....
