Brennia Kottefaru Maldives

A beautiful place for a relaxing and pleasant holiday. Attentive and polite staff took care of our comfort. We were pleasantly surprised that the staff understood Russian a bit. Also there were interesting entertainment during the day and evening. Special thanks to Sim sim for the Aqua Zumba and Aqua Aerobics, relaxing yoga and amazing fire show. The beach is clean, smooth entry into the ocean. The only downside: we had to come very early, before breakfast, to get a sunbed. And also at the restaurant there weren’t paper napkins on the table. But despite that all was great. The memories will be truly unforgettable. And it was very sad that the journey comes to an end.

Apart from the clean and specious well lit room.this reshort should be preferred by the once who always crib about the staff of the hotel and Thiene services,becouse you well have no complaint againnst them.They are very polite and Thire hospitality is amazing .spacially Shibaprasad from house keeping department he take care and Maked Amazing bed deco for us.Thank you are very satisfy with Bernina hospitality.

It is a nice resort in Maldives about 150KM away from male airport. We were welcomed by their representative at the airport for sea plane transfer. They have arranged the lounge in the airport for the waiting time. After reaching to the resort they have welcomed us again and guided us on the resort and its activities. Although there are several activities for kids, but I feel they could set up the kids zone with more playing arrangements. The breakfast is awesome with varieties of items, but I took one buffet dinner at their Lime restaurant and not found satisfactory in terms of taste to me. They have arranged a complimentary cocktail party and gala dinner against the Christmas supplement fees we have paid. It was very nice arrangement. We stayed in a Ocean water pool villa. It was very spacious with all the amenities. The attached swimming pool is great and have stair to get down into ocean reef water. There are very colorful fishes in the reef water. The resort has also a nice swimming pool in the island in front of crystal clear white sandy beach. Overall we have enjoyed our stay in Brennia Kottefaru.

The resort is pure paradise, you arrive off the seaplane and get enveloped in a very warm welcome. The water bungalow was wonderful, throwing your cases down to get right into the amazing turquoise sea from your own deck sheer bliss. Food was also great plentiful and varied each night. We were very well looked after in the restaurant by the most wonderful staff team…… with Shruti greeting us each day. What a wonderful lady she is. We hope she gets to plan her wedding soon. Haneef and his team: Hassan, Salamah, Didarul, Jowel and Prakash diligent and good fun. They all really made our holiday that extra bit special. What a credit they all are. We couldn’t leave Saddan out, he kept out bungalow in a constant state of perfection, he is such an asset to the resort. He must surely be in line for a promotion soon. We simply relaxed, chilled out and let the stressors of work life slip away…………x

We’ve been in this beautiful beach bungalow for a week. It was and amazing staying. The room was incredibly clean and full of the comfort you need. The kindness of the staff made everything so special but we want to thank in a special way the snorkeling guide, Sterlin. He took care of us in an amazing way from the beginning of our trip. We saw turtles, sharks, rays, dolphins and many colorful fish for the first time . He made feel us safe. This experience will be and amazing memory in our lives also because of him. Thank you for everything. We already miss the island.

This island is pure paradise. We had such wonderful holiday. Staying in a beach villa with a pool, that you walked out from onto the most beautiful beach which you can watch the sunrise from, and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The staff are amazing and always willing to help, Good food and service. Favourite day was a trip to a sand bar, to snorkel , have a picnic, and we saw dolphins and turtles . Then in the evening a lovely meal set up on the beach at the Sun Set Grill. It has always been a dream of mine to go to the Maldives and l must say it did not disappoint , l got to live my dream .

A little piece of paradise! From the seaplane transfer (which was awesome) the beach , the beautiful warm sea, the excellent service, beautiful cocktails and delicious food !! (I’m not sure what a few of the people on here are used too when they are making complaints)! The only thing I would question is the two restaurants that weren’t included in package , were not necessarily and really should be part of the Al-inclusive package as they were always empty… but beautifully located. We stayed in a water villa 602 it was such a wonderful experience, we snorkelled off of our villa to find not only a little shark but a combination of fish. We snorkelled of the beach (past the main pier) we swam with huge stingrays and shoals of fish and again a little shark! Make sure you take an underwater camera ! We bought a plastic cover in the local shop, but we kept messing up ! We had a free snorkel boat trip where we swam with a turtle . Also a free sunset cruise, however the sunsets from the beach were gorgeous. There was also free water sports ie paddle boards, kayaks, and Pedlos. We also were given a free half hour spa treatment each in our package , my husband didn’t want to use his so I had two treatments. The staff were just lovely and work endlessly to please ! A special shout out to Riede (not sure how to spell it ) he served our cocktails by the pool , nothing was too much trouble! Also Jowel in the restaurant , who invited us to watch him in the football tournament.. and kept us updated with the cricket score. (If you want to tip, we took dollars .. just discreetly hand it to them ). Alleina serving fruits , always smiling and welcoming . Also our room service staff Gotham and Racel , excellent service from all ! Thank you. Remember to take lots of sun cream ! It is extremely hot ! We took lots of factor 50 and used it all! Only used factor 15 on last couple of days, its expensive to buy in the little shop! On that note the shop is missing a trick ! We took dollars to spend but nothing to spend on ! I was expecting to see Indian Sarongs ect but their was nothing worth buying! All in all the whole experience exceeded our expectations, Brennia Kottafay is a beautiful clean and welcoming island. Thank you

We visited Brennia for 2 weeks early March. We have been to one of the other Maldives islands (Kuredu) many times before .We were hoping with this change of island to get the type of experience we used to have in the Maldives. We were not disappointed. We stayed in a beach villa with pool which is our personal preference over the water villas. We were welcomed shown around the island and taken to our villa by the extremely helpful and kind admin folks. The room was excellent the pool bigger than we had expected based on all the photos. Very roughly it is 2.5m by about 4m (my guess) not measured! It was cleaned manually every 2-3 days and treated automatically I think twice a day. The privacy around the room pool was exceptional . The restaurant was never crowded nor did we ever have to queue for food. The choice and quality should satisfy most people. I cannot comment on any special requirements. The main pool was also clean and well cared for. The bar was once again never crowded and the service as in the restauarant was exceptional. Special mention to Jowel in the restaurant and Thu Thu Han in the bar who really made our holiday special. They were not the only ones the staff are extremely kind friendly attentive and hard working. The entertainment was OK the guitarist at the time was great as were the fireaters which is not our thing really but they were impressive. There is a very cosmopolitan group of people who visit this island around 5-10% were British if thathappens to be important to you. We have been lucky enough to go on many holidays and this has been the best experience. To prove the point we have booked again for later this year!
