We had a fantastic stay at Marriott Tsaghkadzor! All: the hotel, the village/skiing, the team of the property and the niceness of all around - everything was above our expectations. Special thanks to Aram - manager of the hotel - who listened and heard our wishes and helped me organize a fabulous week long stay at the property with my multi-international multi-age family ranging from young children to elderly parents! More than helping at the resort, Aram and the whole team , arranged everything we needed for skiing by providing tips, instructors and comfort in access the servics. As to the property itself - perfect location, tight in the middle between the village center and with the ski resort. We stayed in the main building with a church view - specious clean comfortable rooms with great bds and service. Two restaurants on site that we tried with great food and service. As to skiing - we loved that it was not crowded compared to all European resorts at this time of the year. We managed to put on skies both our kids and our parents and enjoyed the off piste skiing ourselves. The lifts are older , open and slower than in a typical Euro resort - but for the needs of our group - all was great. It was a perfect mix of rest, comfort, beauty, hospitality and effortlessness. We d love to be back and can definitely recommend !!!

Marriott kind of sets an expectation level even prior to visit and this was not met. Pros Massive property Room was big we had a standard no view room but still wasn't bad Free drinking water, refilled as per request Gave us an extra room heater when we said the heating in the room wasnt adequate Breakfast was ok ( needs to be labelled better as potatoes had meat in them, bit of an issue if one is vegetarian). Made us a nice massive omlette on day 2 Walkable distance from town , around 15 minutes to Kecharis monastery and almost 30 to the ropeway ( although the staff will tell you 5 and 15 respectively) Cons Staff need to be friendlier. There are no smiles, no greetings and very lacklustre customer service Water in shower was tepid and did not get fixed. The water in the sink was hot, but shower was not and this wasnt great at minus temp

The location of this hotel is fine as long as you don't mind walking uphill a few blocks to get to the city center where the restaurants and sights are. Convenient free parking. The room was fine except for a five star hotel I would have expected a bathtub in the bathroom not just a shower. Bathroom in general was older and not so nice. Balcony and view were excellent, and I was very impressed by the welcome spread waiting in the room for me: a generous plate of delicious cookies, pastries and homemade jams (not just a nice gesture but food I really enjoyed eating) as well as an additional plate of fresh fruits. That makes me forgive somewhat the lackluster breakfast the next morning; the food just wasn't that good. Even though the breakfast is free and included with the stay they should upgrade the quality and quantity of items to make it worthy of a five star hotel. Overall however a good value (at least off season when I went) and a touch of luxury outside the capital.

I had stayed at this hotel initially 4 years ago for a conference and again this time. The hotel now is dilapidated. The staff are (especially in the restaurant) impatient and rude. We were staying on a full board basis. The first 2 days the offering was adequate and from day 3 it went downhill as though they’d run out of supplies. Not good Marriott. The Yerevan branch was the same this trip. Such a shame as no investment seems to have been made in the last 4 years to maintain a standard.

Room 114. Not very clean, with the carpet full of fluff, and the previous occupant's key card still on the floor. Not vacuumed at all around the edges. The wash basin had an old brown crack in it. The hotel is overstaffed, with people sitting around waiting for custom. Table tennis table is the only bit of the gym worth using. Situated well away from the town. Coffee machine does not work properly at breakfast, and the hot food is not really hot.

Friendly staff and tasty breakfasts. Nevertheless there is nothing more to do in the hotel. I wish there were more entertainment places as in the end of the day it is not value for money. I did like the location. It is not the the town center and not far from any of Tsaghkador's sights either.

Great location with a nice view from our cottage room 😊 Accommodating staff, clean and neat room and a fantastic breakfast buffet with lots of options. Overall, it was a great and superb experience. 👌🏻

Excellent hotel. Great hospitality. The moment u walk into the hotel u feel the warmth of the staff. Brilliantly maintained ,and Led by their dynamic GM Voskan, this property is setting examples of superior service and great product. Kudos to voskan and his entire team for taking care of us. Our kids loved the kids club, Excellent video games parlor, nice looking bar and to top of it mouth smacking delicious food. Without an iota of doubt I highly recommend this property. This is a fantastic family ski resort .
