เดอะ เกรท เอสเคพ ชาเล่(The Great Escape Chalets)

We are still blown away now by how wonderful this hotel is. In fact we’d go so far to say as the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We stayed here 5 nights and like most - immediately wished we’d booked for longer! This hotel is by far the best value for money for accommodation and service we’ve ever experienced. Tom greeted us and checked us in and immediately made us feel so relaxed. He booked our return taxi and speedboat back to Samui airport there and then which was a thing playing in my mind which he immediately sorted. Nothing was too much for him. The villa was just wow. The photos don’t do it justice. We were given the least desirable room being opposite the car park but even then it was all very private and peaceful. The villa is huge, a shower and a bath which is a rarity in Thailand, a veranda with outside seating area and jacuzzi also. Unusually but also very handy there is a toaster in the room along with freshly ground coffee and a cafetière. Nice touch! The fridge was filled with complimentary beer and soft drinks which was a surprise and also a rarity in hotels. The AC was powerful as was the shower water pressure. The beach is 5 mins walk away and beautiful and there’s plenty of local restaurants to eat at during the day and night both along the beach and on the street which is also only a few minutes walk away. It really was such an amazing stay. We didn’t want to leave. I’m so happy to have found this hotel as will return in the future. It’s amazing in every way. We have had the best 4 days in The Great Escape chalet. The location is set on a quiet, family friendly beach but there are restaurants and bars for the evening. The street food stalls on the road into the property are some of the best we have eaten at. We’ve had fabulous breakfasts and evening meals here. Round the next bag there are also bars and restaurants and a big hotel you can visit for the day if you want pools. The rooms have everything we need and big enough for the x4 of us. My boys loved coming home each day to the plunge pool. It was such a lovely and peaceful place to relax. The hosts are so friendly and go out their way to help. They made sure we had the right motorbike to travel around the island, gave us top tips on where to go and what to see plus even lent our sons a football as they could see from their T-shirt’s they are Liverpool and Man Utd fans. We visited all round the island and loved it. Plus felt like we had stayed in the best beach and accommodation on the island. We will definitely stay here again!

Just had a really lovely week here, great sized room, excellent shower, loved the beers & soft drinks that were refreshed as often as you waned & the 2 bottles of water delivered every morning, kettle, toaster, microwave& plenty of kitchen bits if you wanted to prepare something easy, loved the little refreshing plunge pool, couple of bean bags & outdoor table & chairs May & Thong were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble & May does an excellent laundry service, we hired a scooter from them A quick 2 minute walk & you are on a beautiful beach with plenty beach bars/ restaurants Thong organised our transfer back to Koh Samui Airport & all went if we are ever in that part of the world again we would absolutely stay at Great Escape

Perfect, spotless bungalows at amazing location next to a great beach! Amazing rooms with a lot of amenities, great stuff that made us feel at home. It also had motorbikes for rent. They also provide beach mats, mosquito sprays, comlementary drinks, games, ice cooler and many more.

Very nice pool villa, large enough to accomodate our family of 4. Very helpful owner who can arrange transport and tour. Great location, 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach (suitable to swim and with children).

You are looking for a place to come down, for a charming apartment with private area and your own pool and that all close to a wonderful beach. Do not search, you find already! What a Magical haven. Clean, well designed bungalows offering lots of privacy due to the greenery planted around the front of each chalet. The private plunge pool is so blissful to chill after a day out exploring. Two minute walk along a track brings you to the most wonderful beach that is peaceful & clean. A few places to eat here beach front or you can hop on a long tail boat to the sister beach called Noi. The owners May & Thong were extremely accomodating assisting us with anything we needed. If you’re wanting to escape, you’ve found your place. Make sure you also visit 2 See Bar for Sunset cocktails

Super moderne Bungalows mit kleinem Pool.sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Klima, Kaffemaschiene (FrenchPress) Kaffe gab es kostenlos.tägöich Wasser kostenlos. Nur das WLAN hätte etwas besser sein Können Netflix war fast unmöglich. Lage in der zweiten Reihr hinterm Strand. 2 Minuten Fußweg. Strandliegen und Strandtücher gab es umsonst. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Tom hat alles organisiert egal ob Transfer zur Full Moon Party oder Transfer zum Flughafen nach Koh Samui oder Rollervermietung. Wir hatten die Bungalows 1 und 2 welche wohl etwas kleiner sind, aber nicht einsehbar.so konnte man jederzeit auch mal nackt in den Pool springen . An der Hauptstraße ( 2Minuten) konnte man gut frühstücken oder sich das Frühstück holen.z.B.Fruchtsalat 100 Bth. Bungalows waren sehr sauber und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt Wut können dir Anlage nur empfehlen

Bellissimo hotel con chalet immersi in un giardino tropicale con ognuno la sua piscina privata. Camere e bagni molto spaziosi, presente sia la vasca che la doccia. Non ha la colazione inclusa ma è a due passi dalla via principale con diversi bar e ristoranti e minimarket. Non è sul mare ma la spiaggia si raggiunge in due minuti a piedi attraverso una strada pedonale. Penso sia l'hotel migliore di tutta Thong Nai Pan Yai. Ottima esperienza.
