What a wonderful small boutique hotel this is. Managed impeccably by three lovely ladies everything is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and chef cooks up delectable dishes. We stayed for three nights and were able to walk all over Fort Kochi and see everything that we wanted to, then come 'home' to our lovely comfortable room for a rest before heading out again in another direction. I thoroughly recommend a few nights at Tissa's if you are looking for a small hotel with that discreet personal touch.
We spent a wonderful week in Fort Kochi at The Fragrant Nature Hotel - which quite frankly was the best! We loved the swimming pool on the roof and could spend time on the sunbeds with shades whilst relaxing and resting in the sunshine. The bedrooms were immaculately clean and spacious and the bed comfortable. All of the staff were fantastic and we got to know them and felt like they were our family by the time of leaving - special mention to Sruthi & Anjana & Jayasurya & Sujeesh & Dev (in the Spa). Most of all I need to mention Sandra Susan who looked after me and helped to choose my various Indian breakfasts and brought my double espresso - what a wonderful lady - thank you Sandra Susan! We were celebrating my wife’s special birthday and the staff arranged a private dining experience which was magical - thank you Fragrant Nature. We were very sad to leave the hotel but have the best memories of such an amazing time in Fort Kochi.

I got a chance to stay in Novotel kochi during my YouTube video roadtrip to vagamon while leaving vagamon thought to book a hotel for a stay in kochi so search a room in kochi as I am a member of accorso thought to use a complimentary one night stay so I booked it. Yes, booking Novotel kochi is my biggest mistake I have been staying in Novotel aerocity Delhi and Pullman aerocity new delhi they have a dedicated floor for a smoking room. So keeping this in mind I booked and reached the property when I asked to give smoking room they informed me that this hotel is full non smoking which makes me realise my mistake I asked simple question As you have not mentioned any where that this property is no smoking on the application and after reaching the property we can not cancel to it was taken it or leave it I personally felt that I don't have any other choice and I forcefully stay there so I choose to stay as early morning I need to travel on road trip The conversation with the reception and manager. The best part of the manager was his smile was very good just smiling and not doing anything in the end manager said I am sorry for the inconvinence. After having heart broken conversation with manager thought to relax in a bar because I got 1 complimentary drink which includes any one from beer, indian spirit, wine, coffee so I choose to have indian spirit However the bar manager said we will offer only beer not spirits after showing the complimentary list which is clearly mention but they dined very rudely so no other option I paid for the drink. One more thing mind the board which is places next to the enterence right of admission so they said sir you argue then we can cancel your booking please read the board which is place on the gate So for me it was so unpleasant stay For me a big no for Novotel kochi 😁😁 🙏🥺 If you want to comment any thing please go to my yt channel @travelexplorernomad

SshortsortieThe hospitality industry is so profit driven it has lost its perspective on its true purpose. It is rare to find a great hotel but funnily enough it is rare to find a very bad hotel or a bad hotel experience. Neemrana Tower House in Cochin, was a bad experience for my family. I booked a family room (1 king bed+1 queen bed) with an extra bed for 2 days and nights, for 4 persons from May 13th to 15th, 3+weeks in advance after clarifying details on their websites, other platforms and by calling the Manager operations, Ms. Vinita Vijayan herself. I was told that yes it was available and that booking any later would not guarantee the same facility. The booking was done online in full payment for 3 persons with extra bed charges to be paid at the hotel on arrival. I reconfirmed our booking a few days before our travel as well. At no point were we aware or told that the premises were being renovated. Come 13th of May, when we reached the hotel just before 4pm after traveling from Pollachi, we noticed that the hotel was under repair with no staff in sight to immediately receive or guide us. I walked into what seemed like the reception, saw no one and then looked further in, to see a lady who was the manager working on her system in her office. I introduced myself and had to ask her for guidance and help for parking and baggage. After 15 minutes of that, we checked in. I even paid up the additional extra bed charges for 2 days. As we were moving to our room, we saw that all the rooms were being renovated. Our's seemed to be the only one ready. On asking about the pool the manager said that it was being renovated too. Basically apart from meals in our room or the dining area, the rest of the hotel was unusable. On confronting the manager, she said she had informed us and it was updated on the website. Both NOT TRUE, which I double checked. She offered no compensation or even explanation. That's when we got upset and I asked for some reparation of what was an obvious con. She was unapologetic and almost indifferent! Long story short, we took care of our own comfort. I insisted on a refund, which was promised with no timeline. Refund of the extra bed was offered too of the day we were staying and the next, but the manager refused to commit in a mail. The next morning despite assurance of a formal mail about the refund as payment was not immediately possible, there was nothing. After insisting, a short mail was sent promising 1 day's refund. We checked out at 10.30am. After about 2 days, 1 day's refund was done without the additional bed charges including the day we did not stay( we were charged for a bed we did not use) Throughout the stay there were no efforts to make us comfortable. The breakfast was lack lustre and just average with runny scrambled eggs. Definitely not going to trust the Neemrana brand again. Beautiful property, horrible management.
Bedding and pillow is comfortable and good , food quality is good. Vegitarian menu is set properly We were here for 3 nights four days staff had given us good and prompt service with humble Nature. Hygienic washrooms, clean lobby and no smoking policy is good . Lemon tree Hotels are good in kochi well connected to main city and outskirts
We arrived late and very tired after a very long journey. I noticed we were not offered a welcome drink unlike all other hotels we stayed at. I noticed other visitors were offered welcome drinks The shower room was very tired and old ; although there was refurbishment going on . We had to call the reception to ask the builders to stop work next door around 9:30 pm which they did. Room was comfortable. The over head shower was intermittently very hot and intermittently very cold. The staff were very helpful in sorting out issues with the Safe. I forgot to give a tip at the end - apologise As per other hotels, food was fabulous. Thank you all. Shop was expensive so didn’t buy anything
ผผู้เข้าพักGreat place to stay. Rooms : 4/5. Good rooms with all basic amenities what you can expect for a short stay. Good bed, clean linen, clean towels and bathroom. You may not get very hot water; Only lukewarm water because of solar heating system. Location - 4/5. Easy access to Metro, Cab and Auto. Breakfast - We didn't include that in our package. Plenty of options available nearby. Staff : 5/5. Always attentive and supportive. We will surely comeback.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe rooms are really comfortable with elegant view of backwaters and with a private balcony! You have everything inside the room.. a dining table, cozy couches, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a washing machine, an electrical induction cooker, cutlery crockery etc.. I stayed in an apartment with living room, kitchen, two TVs, Two air conditioners and a lot of space.. wonderful stay just few Kms away from the city.. highly recommend this place..
ผผู้เข้าพักAmazing staff and very beautiful and stylish hotel. The architecture, the rooms, the gardens and pool are really beautiful, sensitive to local styles as well as super comfortable. The pool was very refreshing after a day out in the hot weather and very clean. I had an extremely relaxing Ayurvedic massage in the treatment room with a very experienced practitioner. The breakfast was lovely and the dining room is fresh and charming. But most of all, the staff were incredible! They were there for my every need and provided advice and even booked my train onward train ticket and arranged for me to be taken to the station early in the morning. Its in an interesting location with a theatre right next door. I cannot recommend the wonderful hotel highly enough.
ผผู้เข้าพักHad a nice experience from the crescent suits cochin, room was neat and clean, family friendly hotels, i travel-led lots of places so the service that i got from here i can say clearly exceptional, staffs are friendly and supportive for my needs, highly recommendable for couples and families
DDenniscrizThe Good: Good room service, polite staff, and great ambience are the main draws for this property. The Bad: The property struggles to overcome the negative impression left by the government heritage properties due to maintenance issues. Lake View Cottage: Initially given a room with relatively spacious single beds, we encountered a problem when the bathroom flooded into the room. Despite calling reception multiple times, the promised maintenance team never arrived. After contacting the booking agency, we were eventually provided with another room but we had to wait 2-3 hours. Unfortunately, the alternative room also had issues, including small single beds. The Ugly: At night, upon opening the door, a group of 5-6 people smoked right in front of our room and hosted a party with 10-15 people in a cramped room next to us. I don't know how the management allows so many guests in a small room with no policies. Alarms were unnecessary as water droplets from the AC served as a constant source of noise and nourished the pillow. The unpleasant smell emanating from the AC added its part as well. Sustainable Tourism: The lack of sustainable practices led to unnecessary waste, such as excessive use of plastic and paper wrappers for amenities like tea bags, glass water bottle caps, and dental kits. Despite enjoying the historical ambience, the overall experience leaves me undecided about staying here again. It may be preferable to stay elsewhere and visit the property instead.
