Staff was nice. The room smelled like animal piss and they tried to make it smell better by leaving air fresheners around. Looked like there was animal hair on the bed. Other than that it wasnt bad for the price.

This is a no frills hotel but it was quiet and restful. Walls could be patched and repainted and some work on the bathroom tiles and a deep clean would make it a standard room. It would be nice to change from styrofoam plates and bowls to paper. Breakfast was a bit more spartan than the usual fair. The only warm options were instant oa**eal, waffles and whatever could be toasted. But it was clean and the coffee was fair. For an inexpensive overnight trip it was fine.

They are doing some remodel work on the east building so some rooms are not available, this is ok because it is quieter, it is the off season as well. Location os convenient to many things in town and easy access to major highways.

I would give 5 out of 5, but there was a smoke detector with a dying battery that affected my stay. Great place otherwise.

I don’t know who gave this an 8/10. They must’ve been paid. At first glance it looks ok but then you notice the cobwebs hanging from the ceiling a the light fixtures. The bathroom tiles are dirty and broken. I understand the reason they don’t refund for a shortened trip because after the first night we would have left. They don’t clean every day and you don’t get clean towels. Not that it matters much as the towels were thin as cheesecloth and rough as sand paper. The beds were firm and appeared clean. The highlight was the shower head, great pressure. Even the the sower was moldy around the edges. There were only 3 small drawers and no handle on one and the other was broken so we couldn’t unpack. Maybe they gave us a bad room because we had dogs( which they charge extra for) but it was bad. Really bad.
