Premier Inn Hull City Centre

I especially loved the bed. It was so comfortable. I had a peaceful sleep. The breakfast was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was basic but very good quality. TV was just very small and couldn’t really see it from the bed.

Good location for what we needed. Some cleanliness issues. The staff had polar opposite customer service skills. Noisy; road noise, internal banging doors and thin walls. Bed’s are not I’ve come to expect from Premier Inn. Did not sleep well.

went to hull city centre last night. 17.5.24. room 803. avoid. the room had a foisty smell, obviously to mask something else. the toilet was not as clean as it should have been. the bathroom itself was in desperate need of a revamp, the shower head was loose, and the general overall cleanliness in the room left something to be desired....and we have used premier inn many times. had we been staying for more than 1 night, we would have been out of there...

Stayed with my wife as it was my birthday and love the Old Town in Hull. Staff friendly and felt more upmarket than other Premier Inns. Grant in particular very helpful, provided surprise Cider and Chocolate in our room. Location great with good parking and 5 minute walk to the Deep and the Old Town

Business stay to attend the Yorkshire Heritage Summit at nearby Hull Minster. Easy to park and such warm sincere welcome on arrival. Table booking for dinner made and what a fantastic view from the restaurant. Jason and his team really take customer service as key and deliver on every possible front. Room 1215 on top floor had views which are beyond words to describe . Restaurant superb thanks everyone

We arrived at premiere inn, the check in was very basic. Given the card to our room and that was that. Not told anything extra. Arrived to our room to an old smell of dust and mould. We had a look around noticed the tv was just about on the wall, hanging off. The room was just really dated. There was dust on all surfaces, especially on top of the wardrobe area. I love hotels and never usually look for these things but they were right in our face. Mould on the windowsill and curtains. At this point my partner stayed in the room and I nervously went downstairs to ask if I can upgrade to a premiere plus room. I never complain so this was odd for me so I decided just to ask to upgrade. As I got to reception the man didnt even make eye contact, I said sorry to be a pain (not that i was been) could i upgrade to a premiere plus room? He then said abruptly 'no' which took me back as the hotel seemed quiet. I ask again and said well, id like to, we will pay?? And he then said 'no you cant upgrade you have chosen the room you have chosen' so i said oh ok thanks and walked back to the lift. As I got into the room my other half was upset at the way we were being treated. So we grabbed our stuff, my partner went to reception and said we are leaving. To which the man replied 'ok bye' and we left. We both previously have worked in customer service jobs and know that this is un acceptable and that he could of atleast tried to help or offer some alternative but instead he was happy with us just leaving. This was a date night for us so all we was focused on was getting to a nice hotel and relaxing. Otherwise this could of ended up in a big conflict. I am disappointed and it has put me off vsiiting premiere inn again. And we are also £57 down as we didnt even stay the night!

We have stayed at Hull City Centre many times. It is simply The Best, great location, beautifully clean and well appointed rooms but the Team here are outstanding, always friendly, courteous and available to offer assistance. Comparison is the Thief of Joy but this hotel never fails to please.

Very poor standard of room on 9th floor. Glasses provided dirty. Bathroom had paint peeling and wasn’t the cleanest. Shame really as the staff were pleasant and chatty. Needs updating and a right good clean but I suppose can only be cleaned as good as maintained.
