Amour Holiday Resort

This hotel is very poor we are hear now ! We asked for a couple of extra pillows as their is only two in a king size room also only 7 coat hangers with no more available so don’t expect to hang your cloths up , it’s not an adult only hotel lots of children about , the food is crap barely warm and it’s been spaghetti for 3 nights in a row ! For two days we have had their cheap cocktails by the pool but today they have decided that now they are having a Cocktail hour only ! Mid holiday! Avoid this place if I where you oh and we had a sink in room that leaked water out all over floor which we used our towels to mop up their still their 3 days later !!! If you complain their favourite saying is I don’t speak English

We had an amazing holiday in Amour Hotel Resort.For sure one of the best hotel in the area of Corfu.The location of the hotel is excellent,we had easy access to the beach as it was right next to the hotel.The food is very tasty and we tasted all the flavours from all over the world.We will visit you again soon!

Firstly every staff member you meet from start to finish is welcoming and cannot do enough to help you if there is a problem no matter how small. The place itself is small with pool ,new flooring around pool is very slippy ,outside bar and dinning area …not much more other than your rooms. The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily and this is led by the lovely Linda who also assists you in any issue you have and speaks Greek as well as English. Food and drink The food is limited with not much variation but the main issue is unless you’re there when the meal times start the food is cold , we ate out most nights due to this as did half the occupants.They do serve local dishes which I like but just not cold .The only bar is the outside pool bar with limited options of choice.this needs improving There was Salsa night ,Greek dancing night , Disco night on whilst we were there. This is a not bad hotel in a good location 10 minutes from main ***** however it is certainly not 4 star although I can see they are trying to better everything. Aside from the food issues I would look at coming back here

We have just spent a fortnight here and loved every minute of it. The hotel is clean, and really well situated for the beach, Canal D’Amour and a bustling high street full of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. We opted for the room with the swim up pool which is perfect if you want privacy and a little place of your own to chill. The food seems to be the main moan on here, but it’s all inclusive - not Michelin star. The choice is fine and we ate out about three times through choice, not because of the food. If you’ve come to Greece to eat fish and chips and chicken nuggets, don’t go all inclusive! Staff were great, friendly and attentive and in particular I’d like to mention Linda, (head of housekeeping) who went out of her way to make sure we were happy with everything. If we weren’t she sorted it! We came at the beginning of the season which meant it wasn’t so busy, I’d recommend this if you like a quiet holiday. I’d definitely come back and probably will!

This is NOT a 4 star hotel, please don’t be fooled. It advertises a gym but this is a lie! There’s 4 weights that come apart in your hand, no treadmill, a broken bike and a broken pull down machine that is it. I’m not exaggerating. The mattress is rock hard, if you like a firm bed you should be fine. However, the rooms are clean. The food is cold and basic but will do if you want a cheapish holiday. It’s only breakfast, lunch, and tea. No snacks through the day. Only one beer and a few cocktails that you have to put mixers in yourself. The location is perfect, quiet but within walking distance of bars.

We spent the week at a more holiday village the beginning of May. With a bit more research, we might have delayed our travel till the week later as we went during the orthodox Easter. Overall, the hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly . our room was cleaned regularly . Fresh towels and fresh bed linen. The standard of the room was good and I would have to say that 10 out of 10 for the cleaners and Linda head of housekeeping does an exceptional job. The location was perfect and central for a stay in Sidari. There is a north pole plenty of sun loungers. My only complaint would most certainly be the food was rarely very hot which I did raise on numerous occasions. Restaurant staff were unable to tell me what some of the meals were . I did have regular conversations with the manager , who was more than happy to listen and probably got sick of me complaining about the food. There there was also limited choice for drinks when we arrived, which was very disappointing. I just don’t think they were quite ready and with a bit more preparation this would be a really lovely place to stay. Hopefully things will improve for this hotel as it is a really lovely place and staff are working really hard to try to give you a really good holiday. If you do decide to go here, please talk to the staff with regards any of your concerns during your say as I really do believe I want to give you a great holiday and improve service.

We just returned from 5 nights at the Amour Holiday Resort…we had a fantastic time. The resort is in a great location close to the bars, restaurant and beach. We would recommend visiting Smugglers Inn, Vintage Cocktail Bar and D’Amour Beach resort. The views from the hotel and Sidari resort are stunning. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful. Lynda went above and beyond helping us with our lost luggage which she sorted for us due to an issue at the airport…without her we would have really struggled sorting this. Transfers are long but well worth the travel when you get there. We will definitely be returning!!!

I have just returned from this hotel and all I can say is thank you. We had an amazing holiday and Andreas at the Bar mare the best drinks. Thank you and we hope to see you all again very soon. Regards Toni

I visited this hotel with my 2 children and we had a great time. From start to finish it was a very enjoyable stay. All staff are 5* and very professional. Food was also excellent for my daughter who has several allergies. Will be going back next August.
