We have been coming to M.O T for 10 years in different properties. This time we stayed in 12 The Maxwells and brought friends. Accommodation was great as always, lovely layout as never stayed in this style of property before. Week equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and beds. And even the weather was good for us. Will return.. :)

We had such a lovely time at Mains as a group of work colleagues celebrating a couple of 'big' birthdays. The check-in was straightforward and efficient. Our villas were impressive - quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings and very well equipped. As a group of 8 friends, we booked 2 properties where the bed configuration was such that we all had a bed each, which was important to us. There was everything we needed in the villas for a very comfortable stay. It was also great to have some outside space. We ate in the Courtyard restaurant one evening which we enjoyed. We ate in on our second evening, getting takeaway pizzas from the nearby Taymouth Marina. One of our group has already booked a return with family in the summer and we are all thinking of making our getaway an annual thing with Mains at the top of our list.

Another wonderful stay at Mains of Taymouth. Everything is such a high standard. We stayed in 1 Maxwells which was a lovely i bedroom apar**ent on 2 levels. Loved the balcony off the bedroom and the sun shone for us too. Already booked to go back in October.

We stayed in the Bell Tower as part of our anniversary celebrations this time (we normally choose the Gallops or Maxwells) and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you to Mains of Taymouth staff who make everything so good, from initial booking to keeping the place immaculate. We like going up Drummond Hill for the views and there is an equally good walk on the other side of Kenmore if you follow the single track road and park a bit further up past the Rob Roy walk and before Toumbuie Cottage. It is well worth it. Thanks again Mains of Taymouth.

The accommodation and all staff are first class. We have been holidaying here for the last 9 years and visit at least 3 to 4 times a year that says it all. The only down side is that my golf hasn’t improved in the last 9 years but that’s down to me. If you want a relaxing peaceful holiday or an adventure holiday this is the place to be.

Stayed in the luxurious lodge, ‘The Atrium’. Has 3 bedrooms all en-suite with a fully equipped kitchen. Whilst we didn’t have a pet, they do welcome them. Facilities include a hot tub and a barbecue. There is a restaurant and bar and a grocery shop in the estate. There is a small beach nearby and a children’s playground. There are many walking routes and the village is a short car journey from the town of Aberfeldy.

This was our first visit to Mains of Taymouth and it won’t be our last! The lodge was spacious and very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen well stocked, and the complimentary milk, tea coffee and shortbread was a nice touch! The bed is very comfortable albeit the pillow are a bit soft (but we knew that before we arrived) The courtyard is a great place to eat, food is cooked well and a good selection. Staff really friendly. Overall this is a 5 out of 5 for us and we’re already looking at booking again for October!

We received a warm welcome from the staff at reception as one would expect. We stayed in the White House which was conveniently located close to shop, reception area and golf course office. The house itself was well equipped and comfortable, but probably due to the time of year was looking less than white on the outside and the decking was coated making walking on it a little slippery and the hot tub is very much on show for the rest of the site to see. The games room was very disappointing as the pool table was tiny, the table tennis table had no balls available and the room was generally damp, and therefore not of use. The facilities elsewhere on the site were excellent including the golf course which despite the weather was in great condition. Would consider staying again but may choose different accommodation.

Fabulous accommodation, location, amenities and wonderful staff. All were first class and ideally situated to explore the surrounding area. The hot tub and sauna were also an added bonus. The family enjoyed the golf and also the open water swimming which was basically on our doorstep. Thank you for wonderful birthday memories
