Note Sami area is windier area of Kefalonia so beach/swimming more a challenge."

"Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic 10 day holiday in July 2025 with our children (age 14 - 23). The hotel is so cute with all the different coloured apartments and the rooms are cool (air conditioned), spacious, comfortable and cleaned every morning with fresh linen and towels. All with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The pool is just perfect, with plenty of space for everyone and always enough sun loungers. There’s also a poolside bar offering snacks, drinks (hot/cold/cocktails) and lunch menu. The buffet breakfast was nice and had plenty of options. It did get busy towards the end of service so we tended to go early and beat the rush. We didn’t have the dinner option as it was very expensive and with better, cheaper options in the nearby town we were happy to venture out for dinner. The town was quite a walk from the hotel so we took advantage of the hotel bus which ran morning - evening. You just need to book at reception, the staff were always extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Especially Evelyn - she was an absolute ANGEL and made so much effort to ensure we were happy and had everything we could want and more! I would say it would be beneficial to hire a car as there isn’t much close by and with the temperatures in the high 30s you should ensure it has air conditioning! There is parking across the road from the hotel. As well as two stunning little coves with crystal clear water where our children enjoyed snorkelling to see all the fish. The water was clean and cool - so refreshing on the hottest days. Overall this was a fab holiday that I would recommend. Only thing I would change would be to hire a car so we could travel at our leisure and see more of the island and maybe go slightly earlier or later in the year when it’s not so hot. I also think it would be a great idea for the hotel to have music at the bar in the evenings as it’s such a beautiful spot. There’s lovely seating outside reception overlooking the sea but didn’t ever see anyone serving at that bar. With some music on and a drink with that view it would be just perfect "

"We were very disappointed with our recent 1 night stay at this hotel. We booked a classic room promising personal concierge service, early/late check in, and welcome treat. The initial receptionist ( lady with long dark hair) was lovely and helpful and promised our room would be ready for 1pm -- we had to wait until nearly 2pm for the room. We didnt receive a welcome treat (or was that meant to be the 'welcome drink' that we did get) and we saw no sign of our personal concierge. The room was comfortable enough - it was small though and the balcony was tiny (although it had a lovely view over the main town square). There was no hairdryer in the room -- we mentioned this to reception and the male receptionist was a bit offhand and advised we ahould have called him and he would have made a hairdryer available ---- well the cleaner should have checked that the room had the hairdryer in the allocated wardrobe drawer before declaring that the room was ready for us! We were disappointed that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room -- although to be fair the availability of these facilities was not included in the room description. The safety deposit box was completely out of reach on top of the built in wardrobe -- useless......I mentioned this to the male receptionist, who suggested we should 'climb' (presumably using the single cfhair in the room) to get access!). Not wonderful health and safety!!! There were 3 steps by the main entrance to the hotel - this made it difficult for anybody with large suitcases......there appeared to be no 'accessible' hotel entrance. Breakfast was just about acceptable -- usual half cold bacon, cocktail sausages and eggs in buffet style and continental choices (cold meats, cheese etc). Nice pastries and the coffee was remarkably good coming from a machine! All in all -- disappointing for the money we paid. This was our second visit to this hotel --- we probably would stay there again if only for its location in Argostoli."

"This hotel is a very modern hotel opened recently. When we arrived there was a staff member who took our cases to our room while we had a welcome drink. We was driven on buggy to our room and aircon was explained to us, room was cool. Positive I 1) The welcome from the receptionist was a warm pleasant smile ask for passports. 2) pleasant welcome drink of Greek bucks fizz which I knocked over before taken a sip. Was all cleaned up by waitress and another was on the table. 3) The room is a modern room big bathroom with a big shower always hot nice basin mirror etc. It's a 2tier room nice big bed and fridge always filled with 2 bottles of water. Lower tier has a L shape settee and coffee table which had fruit and a bottle of wine with a nice note. Outside is 2 chairs and table with 2 comfortable sunbeds getting the sun and of course your own dip pool overlooking the countryside. 3) Breakfast is OK coffee's out of machine, teabag and hot water with various other flavors. There is your usual buffet style breakfast, yogurt, cereals, hot food, cheeses, croissants and cake. 4) The pool is longest I have ever seen in a hotel, with plenty of sunbeds around the pool all comfortably and with hotel staff for your orders, all the staff are well groomed and very polite. 5) Evening meals I can only say we had only one as we were only B&B but it was pleasant food. There seemed to be no atmosphere but that's down to the guests to make it. As a hotel it is great if your here for 5-7 days but if longer I suggest what most of the guests do go out and see kefalonia sites, beaches and taste the true kefalonia food, meet the people very friendly also much cheaper. A good restaurant to eat at is Dennis about a 10min walk from hotel, turn right then left down a single road and there it is facing the sea, great food ( taramasalata not pink and taste fantastic) There’s nothing to say wrong about this hotel everything is spotless and clean, staff very helpful food good but not for people who want the night life. This hotel is quite and peaceful a place to relax with a beer, G&T, cocktails watching the changing colours on the hillsides."

"This is an exceptionally good hotel and we enjoyed it very much. It's the first time I've stayed in a hotel like this and the communal pool has been so quiet - absolutely zero stress about will we get a sun lounger. The hotel is so small and intimate you feel really well cared for and heard. Our room was beautiful and we enjoyed the breakfast and food in the restaurant - very good. We had a massage and facial too - both excellent. Really beautiful views also. Found all the staff to be really kind and helpful. A truly wonderful and relaxing place to stay and we will return. Only downside is I think the price point is quite high but that wouldn't stop me coming again. We hired a car which I would say is a must. We loved Dafnoudi Beach in the north, Assos, hiring a boat for the day and going to the volcanic beach and white rock beach and the underground lake caves."

"If you are thinking of visiting Kefalonia and staying in Argostoli, I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as it just cannot be faulted. Rated as 5 star, it didn't live up to expectations, it exceeded them in every aspect. Location, room, spa, dining and housekeeping were on point throughout our 10 night stay. What really did make this a stand out holiday were the hotel staff across the whole spectrum, but with a special and deserved mention to the ladies at reception who exemplified the meaning of customer service, delivered with a lovely Kefalonian smile. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday at the Casaly hotel both fantastic and memorable. Mark & Jenny."

"Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

"Our second year at the wonderful Lassi Hotel. A warm welcome awaited us as soon as we arrived from the lovely Mema and Effi. Georgia greeted us in the afternoon with the same effusive friendliness. Gorgeous rooms facing the glorious sea and wonderful sunsets. Rooms spotlessly clean. The breakfast had a great choice with fresh strawberries every day. A short walk up the hill takes you into Lassi where there are lot's of restaurants to choose from. We've already booked for next year as we love it so much."

"The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small supermarket to the right of the hotel entrance where you can buy yogurt and other similar items. Behind the hotel is a commercial street where you can shop, but the shop owners are quite casual, and some close very early. The room has a small balcony, not too big or too small. The only drawback is the poorly designed bathroom; the shower is too small, and the toilet paper isn't even next to the toilet! You can arrange airport or ferry pick-up through the hotel on Ctrip, but this will incur an additional fee."

"We were the first guests at this hotel, and spent 10days here we stayed in the swim up sea front room, ( we highly recommend this room to stay) by far the nicest room we have stayed in, it had stunning views which had the sun until late evening , we had the warmest welcome by all the staff, they couldn’t have done more for us, we really enjoyed our stay here it was the perfect chill out location, the hotel was walking distance to a few good restaurants, I would highly recommend renting a car for a few days of your trip too if you like a adventure thanks to everyone at the hotel for our great experience."
