Room rates were significantly lower on both Jetwing website and *********** for the dates I picked. So, I thought they are having a big promotion or discount for these days, and I made a booking directly, paid the 100% total amount(including taxes) displayed at that time using my credit card and got the confirmation email. Pretty usual right? After several hours I got an email from the Jetwing reservation team saying the rates were lower because of a system glitch and now I have to pay more than what I agreed to. It did not look like a glitch to me as I refreshed the website multiple times to be sure the rates are correct. As any other customer I'd expect Jetwing Beach to honor my reservation which was already confirmed and paid in full. But the reservation team insisted that I pay the "new" rate. This behavior from a 5-star hotel is unacceptable and utterly disappointing. I would avoid this hotel next time as I don't want to be scammed again.
