From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and assisted me with suggestions of what to do during my time in Nepal. The location was perfect - just around the corner from the busy Thamel but nice and quiet. The staff cooked me a nice breakfast every morning, even when I woke up earlier than the breakfast time slot!

We visited this hotel and we were happy very much. Very good owner, he helped us all time in the a lot of matters, food was very good. Accommodation was very nice. We are feel like home. Recommendef to all .We would like to return here in the nearest future.

This place is amazing home stay! Family! Very welcoming. Complimentary welcome milk tea!good food,very affordable, clean,they will help you arrange transportation. Very quiet ,peaceful,and still close to main temples (monkey temple etc)

I've been here two times - before my trek in the Himalayas and after it - so i had two different rooms. Both were very clean. The staff is super friendly and will help you with everything you need. There's also a super nice patio.

Just a brilliant place with good food, spacial a**osphere, nice and chill. I like this area, very quietly. And then, owners are just beautifull people! Veeery cozy, I ****ht I will be here for one time, but stay more

The hotel was amazing, people were so lovely and professional. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. The people who work there were so friendly and always welcoming. We arrived late due to the delay of the flight and they wait for us until very late in the night (it was almost 3.00 a.m) and we really appreciated it. Room was clean and comfortable. And the small garden inside had very good vibes :) The area is very quite and close to the city center. Thank you so much for everything, we hope to come back soon!

Gurung's Home in Kathmandu surpassed our expectations. The staff was sweet and incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Our room was spacious and comfortable but also offered excellent value for the price. The welcoming and homely a**osphere added to the overall charm of the accommodations. Situated on a quiet street, it provided a peaceful escape from the bustling Thamel area. The food here was also amazing and very cheap, and the included breakfast was super convenient. Our stay at Gurung's Home was a fantastic experience that combined great value with exceptional hospitality.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Staff were amazing, very 'family feel' environment and incredibly helpful with setting up flights and other excursions. Good location close to Thamel main district. Clean rooms with good temperature control.

After 3 months in a Nepalese Village I had to get some supplies in Kathmandu. I was so happy to fibd Gurung's Home, a nice retreat in the busy city. The staff are very friendly and helpful The location is fantastic, I am in walking distance to Thamel , Ason Bazar and the major bus routes I especially enjoy the breakfast; sitting under the Kimbu and Bogate Trees.
